Chapter 19

Well, I'm for sure stranger's going to kill me because, I'm late.....again

Jordan fast asleep on the floor, he cuddle with a pillow, I grab a blanket and put it over him

Well, when me and Jordan have this movie marathons, we usually stay up really late, but since now, I have to meet stranger every night, so how can I put Jordan to sleep? I may or may not put a sleeping pill in his milk

I grab my backpack, quietly get out the door, went downstairs and grab mom's chocolate chips cookies, as a 'Sorry gift' for stranger, I put them into a paper bag and put them inside my backpack and head out the door

I ran down the street and head into the forest, I dodge the trees of the forest and jumping over the tree stumps, as I'm running the wind hit me, I shiver of how cold today's wind is but, continue running

Not long after that, I reach the meadow and stranger staring blankly at the sky, I walk over to him and stood beside him

"What took you so long?"

I sigh "Me and my best friend had a sleep over"

"You can just ditch him"

"I couldn't ditch my best friend, I have a sleep over with him and I sneak out to the meadow to see you, so it's fair"

"Whatever"

I pull out the chocolate chip cookies from my backpack and handed to him "It's for you"

He raise his eyebrows at me "Why?"

"Think of it as a 'Sorry I am late' gift"

He hesitantly took the paper bag from my hand and open they paper bag, he took one out and eyed me suspiciously

"Just eat the damn cookie" I grumble in annoyance

He eyed me one more time any hesitantly took a bite of the cookie

Shock covered his face, he immediately took another bite, I chuckled "It's good, right?"

He nod and continue his cookie "Who made this?"

"My mom, obviously"

"It's amazing" he said, grabbing a cookie out of the paper bag

I chuckled "I know"

I sat down, tired from running and enjoy the cold wind hitting my skin, stranger sat down next to me "Tired?"

I nod and lay back on the ground, watching the stars twinkle under the night sky and stranger lay down next to me, comfortable silence filled the air

Until stranger broke the silence "Want to play truth or dare?"

I shrugged "Why not?"

"Okay, truth or dare?"

"Truth"

"Do you have a crush on someone?"

I sigh "Honestly, I kinda forgot the feeling of liking someone, it's been quite awhile since I have a crush on someone, now stranger truth or dare?"

"Truth"

"What is the most embarrassing moment in your life?"

"Never mind, I chose dare"

"Are you nervous?"

"N-no, Just change it into a dare"

He stuttered, it's gonna be good

"Okay, I dare you to answer my question"

"Promise me, you won't tell another soul about this..."

I can only nod at him because he looks at me so intensely

"When, I was younger, me and my friend got invited to a halloween party and we have to dress up, obviously since it's a halloween party, my friend dress up as batman, while my mom, she had a difficulty finding a custom for me, so...." he took a deep breath before continuing

"She bought a very....specific custom and I had to wear a...hello kitty custom to the halloween party" he said, as he hung his head low

While, I'm staring at him, eyes bulging out of my sockets, completely shock at what he had said

"Why aren't you laughing at me?"

"I'm in shook and why did she get you a hello kitty custom?"

"She was too late to buy me a custom, all that was left in the custom store was a hello kitty custom"

I chuckled at him "Did you have the cat ears and everything?"

"Yup, cat ears with a pink polka dot dress and a pink bow in my hair"

I close my eyes and imagine a younger version of stranger wearing a hello kitty custom

"You look cute in a hello kitty custom"

"You can't even see my face"

"I know, I just imagine you with black hair and blue eyes with no nose and no mouth"

He chuckled at me "Sweetheart, you really something else"

I look at him and smile

The rest of the night, me and stranger kept playing truth or dare, it's a night full of laughter and smiles
