Chapter 24

Well, my mom found out about my back and she didn't allow me to go anywhere, she told me 'don't move a muscle, you just stay in bed and rest' At least i don't get to do the chores around the house

All morning, i was just sat in bed and my mom made me breakfast in bed. So, i didn't have to go downstairs to get food

Currently, i'm just watching 'the fault in our stars' with a bowl of popcorn in my hands and a cup of hot tea, i wasn't really paying attention to the movie

How am i going to meet strager?

Who saved me from Thomas?

Who is the guy that carried me to the school's clinic?

I snap out of my daze, when my mom knock on the door

"Sweetie, can i come in?"

"Yeah, mom"

The door creaked open to see my mom dressed in her nurse uniform, she came and sat on my bed

"How are you feeling, sweetie?"

"I'm fine"

She nods her head "Good, get alot of rest, sweetie. And i have shift this afternoon, i will finish around 10 p.m, be in bed around that time ok?"

"Ok, mom"

She went to kiss my forehead, went over to my door "Bye, sweetie"

"Bye, mom"

With that, she close my bedroom door
I look at my phone to see it's '2:00 p.m'
I put my phone on my bedside table and sigh, i had nothing to do!

I continue to watch the movie, i grab my teddy bear and blanket, cuddling with it and slowy my eyes gets heavier and heavier, darkness consume me

I woke up, yawning and strenching my arms, i look over to my bedside table and grab my phone it's '6:05', i got out of bed and went to my closet, i'm not going to meet stranger in my mickey mouse pyjamas

I change into black skinny jeans and a grey hoodie, went downstairs and head out the door

I walk along the sidewalk and took a turn into the woods, i walk along the path, kicking little pebbles along the path

Is stranger already there?

What does stranger's face look like?

I'm hungry....

Suddenly, someone shoke my shoulders, violently. I scream and closed my eyes, from the distance heard the person laughing, i open my eyes to see stranger, of course it's him

"You never fail to amuse me, sweetheart" He said, wiping a tear from his eyes

I roll my eyes at him

"Come on! Sweetheart, don't be mad"

I stick my tongue out at him

He chuckles "That's very mature"

I notice he's carrying a picnic basket

"Why do you have a picnic basket?"

"Because we're gonna have a picnic"

He grabs my hand and start walking to the meadow, hand in hand, i have gotten used to him holding my hand now but, i do get the feeling of butterflies in my stomach

What is that feeling?

There's log infront of us and i jump on it, i try balancing myself on the log and stranger held up his arm higher to help me, honestly we look like a couple

"We look like a couple, you know"

"Are flirting at me?"

"No!" I shout

"It's cool, it shows you have interest in me" He said, wiggling his eyebrows at me

I fake gagged at him, i jump off the log and continue walking to the meadow

"Are we there yet?"

"No"

"Are we there yet?"

"No"

"Are we there yet?"

"Yes"

We reach the meadow, stranger put down the picnic basket and start to put down the red checkered blanket, he grab the picnic basket and went to sat down at the balnket, he pat the seat next to him

I went over and sat down next to him, stranger open the picnic basket, to see blueberry muffins, sandwitch's and lemonade

I instantly drool at the sight and my stomach growl in responce

I grab the sandwitch and took a big bite of it

Stranger laugh "Slow down!"

I look at him "I'm hungry"

"I can tell, didn't you eat?"

I shook my head at him

He sigh "You have to eat, sweetheart. If not you will get sick"

I nod and look down, blushing

That's sweet of him

We both ate our sandwitch's in silence and once we finish eating, i grab a blueberry muffin and took a bite, i humm in delight

He chuckles "I know they're your favorite"

I look at him "You listened"

"Of course, i listen to you even though your voice is annoying sometimes"

I smack the back of his head

"Oww..." He said, rubbing the back of his head

"Awww, is starnger hurt?" I said, in my  baby voice

He nods his head

"Well, sucks to be you!" I laugh at him

He huffs

I took my phone out of my pocket and look at the time it's '9:30'

Time flies when i'm with stranger

"Stranger, i have to go home before my mom finds out"

"Your mom doesn't know that you do went here everynight?"

"Nope" I said, popping the 'p'

"I'm really turning you into a bad girl"

"You're a bad influence, i have to go"

As i'm about to walk away, stranger grab my hand "Wait! Before you go, close your eyes"

I look at him, confused "Why?"

"Just do it"

I sigh and close my eyes, stranger move closer to me, i could feel his hot breath against my face

Did he take off his mask?!

I open my eyes to see, they were covered by stranger's hand

"Stranger, i want to see your face"

"No, close your eyes and promise not to open them, ok?"

I sigh "Ok"

I close my eyes and stranger took his hand off of my eyes, his hot breath tickle my cheek "What are y-"

Before i could even ask, stranger gave me a peck on the cheek, my cheek tingles and butterflies we're in my stomach, again

Did stranger just give a kiss on the cheek?
