Layla's POV

Jessica rushes back over to her seat and immediately starts doing her work again. "What happened?" I ask, looking at her strangely. "Huh?" She hums as she looks up at me. "I swear you had makeup on earlier. So, what happened?" I ask as I examine her face. "I cried, a lot..." She begins. "Basically, Vik - Mr. Barn - told Simon - Mr. Minter - that I told you about us. Simon came and asked me why I told you. I explained everything. He understood. I cried because I thought he was mad at me." She explains quietly. I nod understandingly. "Well, is he mad?" I ask. "Nope. He doesn't mind, I don't think." She says. "Wait, you don't think?!" I say, confused. "He didn't seem bothered." She says. I sigh. "Okay." I nod.

Mr. Barn walks over to us with a stern look on his face. "Don't tell anyone, okay Layla." He says quietly whilst gritting his teeth. "I won't, I promise." I say as I look into his eyes. "Now, do your work girls." He says before walking back over to his desk. We - Jessica and I - nod before getting back to work.

Simon's POV

I sit in my office and sigh. Layla now knows. She won't tell anyone, will she? Nah, she wouldn't do that to her friend, surely.

Jessica's POV

I begin editing my photos just as the bell rings, indicating that lesson is over. I groan as I quickly save my work and log off before grabbing my things. I quickly rush out along side Layla and head towards last lesson. Gym. Yay.

We walk in motion with the sea of students, rushing towards their last lesson so they can get home quicker and possibly earlier. I groan as all the taller students constantly push me in different directions. "Fuck sake!" I yell as I link arms with Layla. "What?" She asks as a small chuckle escapes her lips. "I hate people." I mutter. She laughs. "Except me, right?" She questions. "Except you, and a few others." I nod. "Good." She smiles.

Eventually, after what feels like an eternity - but in reality it was actually 10 minutes of pushing, yelling and swearing - we finally make it to the changing rooms where the other girls are standing outside, waiting to be allowed in to get changed.

After a 30 second wait, Simon walks down the corridor...
