“He’ll be right wit ya,” a short, bald, stubby man with tattoos all over his body and gold on his neck and fingers walked out of a door. “What’s yer name, again?”
“Jake.”
The door opened, and another man came out, wearing a suit.
“He’ll be seein’ ya now.”
Jake walked through the door. the building was old, the walls were worn, and the place smelled like smoke. Jake walked into the room and looked at a large, muscular black man who was sitting on a couch. He wore a nice blue suit with a black tie and gold chains around his neck. Many women wearing provocative clothing, or barely anything at all, surrounded the man. When Jake looked around, one woman caught his eye. It wasn’t her lack of clothing that caught him, but her dark blue eyes.
“Come, sit.” The large man said, vibrating the whole place with his deep voice. Jake caught the eye of the woman again, then sat down.
“So. I hear you’re a mercenary. A hitman…” The big man said as he puffed a cigar. Jake nodded and looked at the woman again, straight into her eyes.
“I need you to take someone out.”
Jake looked at him. “I’ll need to see the money first.” He held out his hand. The big man chuckled and sat up. “I like you, kid.” He motioned to the bald guy. After a few moments, the guy came back into the room with a suitcase in his hand.
“Ah, yes.” He opened the suitcase and turned it to reveal millions of dollars.
“Woah, that’s quite a bit of dough. Who would I be targeting?” Jake asked.
“The Arsonist.”
Jake looked at Tee right in the eyes. He knew Tee was becoming annoyed and possibly scared of The Arsonist. Tee knew that The Arsonist would find a way to get to him. So, like any mob boss, he hired a hitman.
“Are you sure you want me to go after this guy?” Asked Jake.
“I don’t care how you do it, I just want this man dead, you hear?”
Jake looked at his hands for a moment, he was fiddling his fingers. He looked back up at Tee.
“Would it be weird to ask for gasoline instead of money, for a pay?”
“Gasoline? What kind of pay is that?”
“MY kind of pay.”
“What are you gonna do? Blow up the-” He stopped talking and it hit him like a truck.
“Who are you?” He asked seriously, realizing what is going on. Jake looked him straight in the eye and smiled brightly.
“I’ll give you a hint.” He snickered, flicking his fingers and a small flame lit. The man’s face dropped and he stood up.
“Do you know who I am?” His voice boomed. Jake got up slowly and started to back up, still with a smirk on his face.
“Someone who’s about to get his building burnt down.”
Jake backed up into a handgun, pressing into his back. The big black man got in his face.
“My name’s Tee.”
Jake stood there for a moment, he gathered his thoughts and listened quietly. Suddenly, he swung his arm back, hit the bald man’s gun and bolted towards the door. Unfortunately, he was stuck in his tracks by a giant force, which turned out to be Tee’s arm on his collar. Tee pulled Jake, by his neck, close to his face.
“You got a lotta nerve, kid.” He punched Jake in the cheek, slamming him to the ground.
Jake felt his face and winced. “Ah, crap.” Tee picked him up and slammed him into a wall.
“Your cocky butt ain’t burnin’ this place down or any other place.” Tee punched Jake so hard in the stomach that he broke through a wall into a bathroom. Jake was knocked into a cabinet, which broke, scattering all the contents to the floor. Tee broke through the bust in the wall and knelt down next to Jake.
“Any last words, before I kill you with my bare hands?” Tee sneered, spitting a little. Jake looked over at the bathroom stuff that spilled on the floor and saw a deodorant spray can.
“Yeah… Just three…” He mumbled as he reached for the can and pulled out a lighter from his pocket. “Burn in Hell.” Jake pointed the spray can at Tee’s face and sprayed it as he put the lighter in front of the can and sprayed fire in his face. The fire melted Tee’s skin as he screamed in pain and Jake kicked him in the stomach. As he fell backwards, his face still burning, Jake grabbed the suitcase and ran out of the building, hiding in the chaos of screaming women.
