I did not expect Blyn to assign me a guard because he knows that I am more than capable of taking care of myself. However, I understand his reasons behind why he assigned me a guard. A man, who is part of the organization, managed to set foot on the Isle. I am certain as he is questioning the man, he is thinking of how he was able to come onto the Isle and without his knowledge. The magic that protects the Emerald Isle is powerful, but I do not know how it works. Blyn told me that he will tell me with time, more specially one the Isle has come to know me more. I do not understand what he meant by that but I suppose I will have to wait to find out.

As I walk to the meeting room I hear Barri's footsteps shadow my own. Blyn did choose a suitable guard because she will be able to protecter me wherever I go. I suppose I should get to know Barri a little since we will be spending a lot of time together. "Is it difficult to leave your twins behind as you work?"

From the corner of my eye I can see her nod her head, "To be honest My Lady it is difficult to leave my sons home since they are so young. However, I do not worry about them because they are in the capable hands of my mother and my husbands mother".

"I am glad to hear that your boys are in capable and loving hands. I would love to ,eat the, when my husband deems all is well," I tell her as we turn the corner of the third floor.

"Thank you and my family will be greatly honored if you meet our children," said Barri.

I nod as I think of how formal Barri is being with me but I suppose that is the case because I am Queen. In my families home I insisted that our servants addressed me by my name. I did not wish to be treated differently because of my fame lies status, after all we are all equal under the eyes of the Gods and Goddesses.

"Have you known your husband for a long time? I was able to meet him briefly at my mating ceremony," I said.

I notice that a flush appears to Barri's face, as if she notices she begins to shake her head. "I have known my husband since we were children. Our mothers are close friends and we lived close to one another. I was shocked when I realized he was my mate because I considered him as a brother since we were children".

"I suppose that it must have been a transition to go from friends to mates. My own childhood friends are experiencing that as well. It was a easy transition for Callen since he knew they were mates for several months," I said. I also suspect the Azalea had some romantic feelings for him as well. I recall the look in her eyes when he did not look at her or how her face would turn red while we trained.

"Well I am sure that all will go well between your friends my Queen," said Barri.

I nod my head to thank her as she walks in front of me, toward a large wooden door, Barri pulls the brightly polished brass knob to her body, and the door swings open. She stands to the side holding the door open for me and I make my way inside the room. Once I am inside I hear the door close and I feel Barri's presence behind me. The room is made up of soft blue walls are the wooden floor is covered by an elegant cobalt rug with a pattern that resembles waves. Plush cream colored sofas and chairs surround a table that is in the center of the rug. Tea. Elegant tea cups rest on the table while small tower trays are filled with a variety of pastries.

On the center couch Azura sits in the middle wearing a simple yet lovely rose colored gown. Elycia is sitting to her left with her hair pulled up and wearing a white gown with a peaches colored lace across the bodice and bottom skirt. On the other couches and chairs are several other women that belong to noble family's. Esch woman is wearing a gown more outstanding than the other with different hairstyles . I place a smile on my face as I make my way towards my designated seat. I have not enjoyed attending meetings with noble women since I lived in the Lunar Isle. Those women wore their beer clothing and spoke to the Queen and her daughter in hopes of gaining their family a higher status in court. I am certain that I will require a vast amount of willpower to make it through this breakfast.
