So y'all know boy scouts right. How they're all responsible and gets things done and do the things they were taught all the time when they're at an outing? Well let me tell yah about the troop I know. First off, I'm not a boy scout, nor do I have any siblings that are in boy scouts (I have no siblings), but there's this thing called venture crew. It's like boy scouts except it's for both genders. And through venture crew, I get to go with them on outings. This outing was a LAN party with the boy scout troop, a bunch of cub scouts from who knows where and me and thenewnightgaurd. The LAN party was over the weekend, starting on Friday night and officially ending on Sunday around noon. We had to eat, sleep, and play there for over the weekend while we had fun playing games, but we also had to take breaks that weren't because of food. What resulted in Friday night started as an actual coordinated game of ninja, turned into a game of catch the hotdog. But what hotdog? Well, one of the boys brought a hotdog suit. Everything was fine until he gave the hotdog suit to another scout. Now, other scouts saw the one scout who had gotten the hotdog suit and got annoyed because they were told that they would get the hotdog suit next and they didn't get it and they really really wanted it. So next thing you know the scout who brought the hotdoflg suit was being chased by a mob of children which then spiraled into everyone running around trying to get the hotdog suit and stealing it from whoever had it in their grasp. Now I think this is a great representation of how things go in the troop because nothing is ever done on time. Never. I've only been to a few outings but from those I know that nothing. Gets. Done. On. Time. Nothing. They're organized for probably a fraction of a second and then it goes down hill. But even though nothing gets done on time it's fun.
