Sean's POV

"You said that when I turned 18 you would tell me where I came from.  I'm officially 18, and you still have yet to hold true to your word," I huffed.  My 'dad,' who isn't really my dad, made that promise 10 years ago when I found out I was adopted, and yet he's been avoiding it all day!  I finally cornered him during dinner, because I couldn't take it anymore.  I've waited long enough.  Too long, in fact.

He paused, as if trying to find the right words, "Well Sport," he said with a sigh, "17 years ago, today, I had come home late from work.  My boss had me work overtime for something I don't remember anymore, but needless to say, I went to have a drink after I got home.  I was just about to start prepping for the next day when I heard my doorbell ring.  I couldn't imagine who would be at my door at this hour, but I went to go answer it anyway.  But when I opened the door, no one was there.  I looked around, but the whole block was empty, aside from the people inside their homes.  So, I just shrugged it off, but just as I was about to close the door, I heard crying.  I looked down, and at my feet was a box with a little baby wrapped up in a blanket inside.  I was stunned at first.  I looked around again to see if I could find who left him, but I still couldn't see anyone.  So, I picked up the box and brought it inside.  When I got a closer look at the box, I saw a note and a necklace around the baby's neck.  The note asked for the reader to take care of the baby, so I did.  That little baby changed my life, and I couldn't be happier."

As he spoke, I fiddled with the spiral pendant hanging from my necklace.  It looks sort of like the iris of an eye that's two different colors, blue and emerald green, in their own kind of swirl that lines up with the outer spiral, and no pupil or whites.

(A/N: The picture, but a black cord instead of a chain, and instead of the diamond studs there's what kind of looks like the material that mood jewelry is made out of, except it doesn't change color

Now that I knew for sure that I was adopted, I had to find my real parents.

Mark's POV

I loved my mom and dad, but I'm 18 now.  That means that I am going to finally embark on the journey to find my real family.  I had already started packing, but we had already decided together that I would leave tomorrow, for their sakes.

As we ate dinner, I played with the necklace I've had since mom and dad found me on their doorstep.  (A/N: Same as Sean's but with a black and red swirl in the middle.)  I couldn't help but feel that it was the key to finding out who I am.

After dinner, dishes, and family game night, I hugged mom and dad goodnight, brushed my teeth, etc., and went to bed with a sparkly glow in my stomach.  Even though there was a pang of sorrow in my heart, I know that tomorrow was going to be a good day.

A/N: Hello.  Thank you for reading my first Septiplier one-shot.  I may or may not turn this into a fully fleshed out story, but no promises.  I hope y'all liked it.  Bye.

And remember: don't stress, because it just makes life more complicated than it already is or will ever need to be. :)
