Taking Natsu hand was probably the most risky thing I have done in ages. Once we were through the window on the outside I couldn't help but worry what could happen.

Natsu didn't give me much time to think before he was dragging me through the town racing after the smell he caught earlier.

"See nothing to worry about!" He exclaimed in utter excitement.

I couldn't help but chuckle at his enthusiasm to being free. Understanding his need to be free I couldn't help but not feel guilt. The others probably would panic though I hope they trust in us not to cause a scene.

Natsu stopped running causing me to smack into him. Groaning a bit I clutched my nose rubbing it.

"Sorry Luce" he chuckled nervously after feeling me collide with his back.

"Why did you stop so suddenly?" I asked fighting back any sarcastic remarks.

"Found it" he chirped pointing at the little restaurant in front of us.

It wasn't big like a fancy place, but it had that town home feeling. From the big windows on the outside there was a few people inside, but the smell leaking out caused my stomach to growl in hunger. My cheeks flushed in embarrassment once I heard the ghastly sound it made.

"I think it has been decided and agreed, we are eating here" he commented dense to my embarrassment.

I simply nodded in agreement as we walked to the restaurant. Opening the door like a gentleman Natsu let me walk in first. We were greeted by a perky young lady who quickly placed us at a table. She handed us a menu stepping back giving us time to look.

"This looks good! No no this does. Gahhh so many good stuff" Natsu groaned while drooling.

"Why don't you order it all?" I offered.

"Do we have that kind of money?" He asked.

"I got it" I replied with a smile.

Deep inside I knew I would bill it to the Heartfilia name. I wanted my dad to know I didn't go away completely silent. Natsu placed his order while I looked over the menu more.

"You miss?" The waitress directed towards me.

"Oh umm I'd like the potato soup meal with a side of fries please" I said.

It was odd I know, but I wanted something warm and I also wanted fries. The woman wrote it down before disappearing to give the cook the order.

"How long do you think before this whole mess gets straighten?" I asked Natsu to make conversation.

"I'm sure Mira and the others will figure out what happen and everything will get fixed. Though if it doesn't we may have to face a war" he said his tone getting serious.

I noticed he wasn't looking towards me like he normally would while he spoke. Instead his focus seem to be outside the window. Looking over, I noticed some of those guys who were searching for magic users outside.

"Oh come on" I groaned.

"Relax. As long as we act normal, eat, and leave we'll be fine" Natsu said.

I trusted his words before sitting up properly. Soon our food came out causing Natsu to go back to his carefree self. The food was beyond amazing as it melted into mouth. This place could be higher up with the big boys, so I wonder why it wasn't?

The men outside walked in soon making the whole place fall silent.

"You know the drill by now. Everyone will be tested and left alone if they are magic free" the guy in the front said.

People began to whisper as they went to tables. Children complain when they couldn't eat while a young mother struggle to sooth her baby crying.

Once they got close to us I felt something settle at the bottom of my stomach. It was a mix of dread or fear, but I knew something was going to happen.

"Wait a second. I think I've seen this girl before. Isn't she a Heartfilia?" One of the men spoke.

That's when I knew I was in trouble. I went to move away from them before my arm was grabbed.

"The Heartfilia woman are confirmed magic users. You can come with us to die or die here in front of everyone" he said twisting my arm.

The pain caused me to whimper as I bent over slightly gripping the table for leverage. Natsu was about to jump up and hit one of them before I shook my head not to. He was torn between helping me and keeping himself a secret.

"Let go" I hissed twisting more.

"Why would I do such a thing?" He chuckled twisting my arm more.

His chuckling suddenly stopped suddenly before gasping gurgling noises could be heard. I felt something wet and liquid like drip down onto my back causing me to look backwards. The man neck was sliced cleanly as his body fell over on mine. I shrugged him off before looking around at whoever did it.

"The girl clearly stated to let go of her" a new feminine voice said. Looking towards the location of the voice I saw two figures sitting at a table. A girl around my age with wild red hair at the bottom of her hair and two streaks by her face were sold white. Across from her was a boy with solid black hair that was tinted with purple on the spiky edges.

"Wait. Those two I recognize them. They're the ones who started this all" the other guy stated shaking in fear.

"They killed the son?" The rumors began to spread like a wildfire.

"We never would have killed the guy if he kept his hands off what wasn't his" the male scoffed.

Everything went to hell after that. The remaining guys open fire on everyone at the restaurant.  Natsu quickly pulled me under the table making sure his body covered mine. People scream and got caught in the cross fire. I looked back towards the two and notice they didn't move. Another thing I notice was the fact no shots hit them.

Once the insane people stop shooting they all dropped their weapons in fear.

"Fuck" Natsu whispered before covering my head not allowing me to see what happen next.

There was the sickening sounds of someone being ripped apart as the agonizing screams came with it. Sounds of blood being spilled everywhere echo into my ears. I could sense the power of evil as it surge through the entire place. Just who were these two and are they really connected with what caused the man hunt?
