Abused [ A Shawn Mendes Story ]

Chapter 2.

I've been sleeping a week in the park on a bench.

I haven't showered, and I had to go to a bread store so they could at least give me a piece of bread.

I made my way to the bread shop.

The bread shop was in the middle of downtown and when ever there was police officers I had to be careful.

I entered the shop and went to the cashier.

"Hi Dan" I said to the owner.

"Aria" he said, he didn't look to happy to see me.

"Listen I can't give you anymore bread. My business is going downhill and I can't be giving out bread for free" he said and I looked down.

"I have no money" I whispered.

"Sorry" he said and then the door open.

I started walking away but I turned around.

I saw that Dan had given a guy a bread, for free.

I waited till the guy payed him but nothing.

Anger rose up.

"Excuse me how come you gave him bread for free and not me?" I half yelled and they exchanged confused looks.

"You're welcome son" Dan said to the guy.

"Thanks dad" the guy said to Dan.

Shit.

"Sorry" I said and got out of the store quickly.

"Hey!" I heard someone yelled.

I turned around and saw the guy.

"My dad told me what you've been doing. I think you need this more than me" he handed me a bag of different kinds of bread and a carton of milk.

"Thanks" I said, speechless.

"My name is Shawn Mendes" he smiled.

"Aria Rose" I said.

"No offense but you look dirty, are you homeless?" he asked.

"Um. I have to go" I said and started walking away quickly.

"Wait!" I heard him yell but I kept walking.

I went to the park and sat on a picnic table.

I ate two pieces of bread and some milk.

I started crying and I put my head down.

Why me?

Why am I alone?

I felt someone poke me with something.

"M'am" I heard.

I opened my eyes and saw a police officer.

My eyes went wide and I quickly sat up.

"M'am you can't sleep here" he said.

"Uh" I said, not knowing what to say.

"Do you have a home?" he asked.

"Blair! There you are" I heard.

It was that guy from the bread store, Shawn.

"Shawn?" the police officer said.

"Hey man!" Shawn said to the police officer and they did the bro fist hug thing.

"Do you know her?" the police officer asked Shawn.
