Marinette sat with her get up on a stool helping ease some back pains. She looked at Adrien, tears filled her vision. A feeling of doubt rushed over her making her the slightest bit dizzy, just noticeable.
Adrien didn't make eye contact while he tried to process that his loves, both of them, were one in the same. He created life with a woman that was like a complete stranger but he knew so well. "How come she never told me?" He pondered about.
A warm, small hand reached his thigh, he saw their daughter, she looked just like her mother, so pure and innocent, frail little frame, healthy. He smiled at her and said a few words in her ear, cupping his hands so Mari couldn't hear. Emmalyn chuckled causing Marinette to look up.
"Oui? Emma et Adrien?" Mari said
"Nothing!" Adrien blurted trying hard not o laugh.
"Bon, actually I don't believe you." She smirked
"Folie á deux, I guess"
"Oui?" She raised an eyebrow.
Adrien stood up and walked over to his lovely wife. He got close and whispered, "Je lui ai dit maman et papa sont des super héros qui doivent protéger et sauver ce monde. Aussi, je l’ai dit qu'elle elle ferait un jour bientôt."
(Rough translation; I told her mommy and daddy are super heroes and that she'll be one too, one day.)
Marinette smiled. Politely not brightly. More of a small smile, whole hearted too.
"Emma, did papa tell you something Fun? "
"Yes, Maman!" Emma smiled widely and cheerfully.
"Oui, little one, we are super héros and you will be one Too!" Adrien laughed, "Bonne peine, je suis tellement fière"
