he says, waking her up. her eyes shoot open.

his sweet voice.

his tan skin.

his amazing wide smile and cute little dimples.

its all back.

namjoon is back.

she gasped, throwing her hands around her husband, not believing he was actually awake.

"namjoon!" she shouts, crying hysterically as namjoon holds her tightly to his chest.

"its okay baby girl, im here and im staying here with you." he says, his smile widening. she had never been so happy to see such a smile.

she only sobbed harder.

"you can only imagine what i felt like, seeing you looking nearly dead." she whispers, wiping away a few tears.

he pulls her hand away from her face and holds her head in the crook of his neck.

"can we go home now?" she sniffles, smiling weakly. "ive been here waiting for you for three days."

he chuckles, running his fingers through her hair. and then he says something that he's been saying to her for eleven years. something that reminds her of home, enjoying a root beer float on new years eve, or dancing around the pool with her friends.

"sure thing, buttercup."
