Own Story

Once upon a time,
I'm a girl dreaming
For my life to have its rhyme
Or just to have a simple thing

I wished to be a princess,
With a lot of dazzling dress
I hoped to find my prince charming
Or a knight with his armour's shining

I wanted to be Cinderella
Even a one day fairy tale
I dreamed to be Snow White and Aurora
Saved by the kiss of their male

Or I should prefer being Belle?
Though he's in love with a beast
True love made everything turned out well
But I'm not even one in the list

I have my own story that I'm going to send
Just like them, I'm going to an end
Maybe I'm not on the climax yet
But the intro is starting to set

Their ending was 'happily ever after'
Mine's not going there
I just want to feel happiness
And learn a lesson when I made a mess

I don't need to be in a fairytale
With those fairy godmothers
I'm contented being a simple female
Appreciating what the world has gave and the love offered by others
