"Dad, I already have a Degree. Tapos na akong mag-aral. Why can't you allow me to work in a known Company? Alam mo naman po na marami ang gusto akong kunin, not because of our family's influence, but because of my abilities." I persuade my dad, James Oswald, one of the World's Billionaires.

"Hija, I know your capabilities. But still no." matigas na sagot naman ng daddy ko.

"You always say no, but you wouldn't give a valid reason!" medyo napapataas na ang boses ko dahil sa hindi maipaliwanag na galit. My dad is so unreasonable this past few months. This is the same issue that we continued to argue, about me and my future career in life.

"We have enough of what you needed hija. You don't need to work." he said calmly.

"But I do want to work dad. Please. Yes we have lots of money. Pero gusto ko yung ako ang nagpapakahirap ng perang nasa mga kamay ko."

Napapailing-iling ang daddy ko sa sinabi ko, para bang sinasabi niya that what I'm saying is ridiculous and non-sense. Lalo lang akong naiirita.

"This is the reason why kuya Andrew prefer to go back to the Philippines, kasi he doesn't want to be dictated by you!" sigaw ko na at nagtatakbo sa kwarto ko. This is too much. I feel like I'm a prisoner in a beautiful but lonely palace.

How can I appreciate everything I have kung yung mga bagay na gusto kong gawin eh hindi ko pwedeng gawin?

Lahat ng mga bagay; latest gadgets, latest fashion items, latest cars---everything's branded and expensive, pero hindi ko naappreciate lahat ng mga yun. Kasi alam kong hindi ako ang naghihirap para makuha ang mga bagay na meron ako.

Napahiga ako sa kama ko. Maybe other girls will think how lucky to be in my place, to be a daughter of a Billionaire, but they don't know what's my life.

Lahat nalang dapat alam ni daddy. Dapat walang nakakaalam ng estado namin sa buhay. I may be a daughter of a Billionaire, pero sa paningin ng mga tao, simpleng babae lang ako. Oo simpleng babae, pero hindi ko magawa ang mga gusto ko. Siguro nga may mga nag-iisip pa na maybe I'm a mistress of a certain Governor, Congressman or what-so-ever, since I have expensive things. Natatawa nalang ako sa mga naririnig ko.

I don't care what other people think about me.

Ang gusto ko lang naman ay yung makapag trabaho ako, yung nagsusumikap para sa ikabubuhay ko. Yung malaya.

"Hija..." my dad's knocking on my door.

Hindi naman ako bastos na anak para hindi pagbuksan ang daddy ko. I love him, he loves me. Pero may mga arguments rin kami tulad nalang kanina.

Bumangon ako para pagbuksan si daddy.

He smiled, apologetically. I smiled back at him.

"I'm so sorry kanina hija." ngumiti si daddy. "Okay let's make a deal." Medyo kinabahan ako bigla.

Tahimik lang ako. We're standing sa pintuan ng kwarto ko.

"You'll be a Personal and Stay-In Maid for 5 months, kapag nag survive ka, you can do everything you want hija." he said seriously.

"WHAT?! PERSONAL MAID?!"

Tumango lang ang daddy ko, disregarding my reaction.

"Yes. No one knows Anastasia Oswald. Well, maybe people know an Anastasia Oswald as the daughter of a World's Billionaire, James Oswald, pero marami naman ang magkakatulad ang pangalan." dagdag pa ni daddy.

"Are you out of your mind daddy?!"

"No hija, I am serious. Being a maid for 5 months for your freedom, or wala?"

Napag-isip ako. Maybe it's not bad. Siguro naman nag imbestiga si dad, hindi naman siguro masama ang ugali ng tao or pamilyang pagsisilbihan ko for 5 months. I know daddy will never take a risk. I feel confident that I can survive this 5 months.

"Okay dad. It's a deal!"

Ngumiti ng malapad si daddy, ganun din ako. I can't wait for my freedom!

Hello. Eto ang First Update ng story na to. Sobrang ikli pa lang. Hehehe. Pero sana may mag support pa rin nito. Maybe Slow Update pa lang ito sa ngayon until matapos ko yung story ko entitled Meant To Be?
