The Wattpad Rebellion

001: An extended summary

So it's been over a day since drama kicked off, inspiring me (GlennTrash ) to make this account, and FIXWP2K17 to be made.

In short, a user of Wattpad was repeatedly bullied for no apparent reason, other than a reader didn't agree with her ship. The reader proceeding to swear at the author, then got her friends to join in on the fun. The author complained the Wattpad about this, as these bullies were making new accounts. When the author's other readers attempting defending her, their comments were taken down from Wattpad. Basically, the wrong people were blamed for bullying.

As a result, queenb816 's rant book, 'How to turn an Introvert into a Murderer' - which I actually loved - was deleted by Wattpad. Since then, she's unpublished all 15 of her other books in fear of having them removed.

Wattpad does need to change their policies, since bullies and plagiarisers are running free, spreading havoc. The scariest bit? Any of use could be next. We don't know who's going to become the next victim in this scenario.
