A smile danced on thin cracked lips, and those shockingly blue eyes grew dark and blank, void of all emotion. A shadow grew, covering her face in darkness as she fell to the ground, blood  splattering. The world fell away as my eyes widened in shock and horror. Tears sprung to my eyes as I let out a bloodcurdling scream, a scream lost in the chaos in my head. Then, silence. Nothingness. I didn't hear her body hit the ground or my footsteps as I tried to run to her, too late, he'd taken her, with a smile on her face depression had taken her, and there was nothing I could do.
