Chapter 38

Lilly's POV
(A month later)

Bailey is now a month old, and his such a happy baby his always laughing smiling

We showed that note Grayson found in front of our door, to Alex and Jessica they said there's pre-teen boys that live in this building they were probably just pranking us so we didn't make a complaint or anything

Jack went back home to Nebraska, and Jamie and Layton went back to California, I haven't talk to them since Jamie stormed out, I've tried to call her but she's not answering but that's just Jamie being petty

Grayson and Alex's job switched up their schedules, Alex works all morning while Grayson works all night, it was tiring at first when I didn't have help when Bailey cried at night but I'm getting better at it

Last I heard from Sara and Kyle, Kyle moved back to Texas with his dad, after Sara threaten to tell his mom everything about their secret relationship, Sara now is working at a Starbucks near our apartment, she's trying to save up all her money so when she turns 18 she can find her birth parents

Ethan and Emily are on a rocky road, they broke up last month, just to give each space before they go out again , but that didn't last long because Emily is a cuddler

I haven't talk to my dad since that unexpected party that he had, and Gray and I left early, honestly I wasn't comfortable either watching all those people fight over Bailey

And my annoying neighbor Ashley, I haven't really seen her lately mostly cause she's a vacation, thank goodness for that

But it's 7:05, Ethan is over and we're all watching a movie called Strokes. Even Grayson was with us even though he had work tonight , but he told his boss he was sick, which was a complete lie cause he was sick, he was sick he couldn't tuck in his son every night anymore

Bailey sat in my lap while his eyes was glued to the TV screen, I mean all our eyes was glued to the screen it's a really good movie

"Grayson!" Jessica whispered

"What?" He says

"Refill my bowl" she says

I almost forgot Jessica twisted her wrist, I don't what she was doing cause she won't tell us the story

"Pause it" Grayson says

Ethan pause it, Grayson grabs Jessica's bowl and goes into the kitchen where he's making another bag of popcorn

A phone dings

"Grayson, you got a text message!" I say

"Can you check it?" He asked

"Sure" I say grabbing his phone and unlocked it since we have each other pass code, I went to his text messages

Block Number: meet me at the school's parking lot at 12 & come alone

"Ethan take Bailey" I say giving him his nephew, I stand up and walk towards the kitchen

"Hey babe" Grayson says looking at me before turning back to the popcorn

"Are you cheating on me?" I asked making him stop what was doing and turn towards me and face me

"Why would ask me that?" He asked

I show him the text message on his phone, he takes his phone and look the text message as if he was rereading it

"Lilly" he says

"Don't touch me" I say as he reach for my hand my nose start to burn and meaning here come the tears

"But Lilly-!" He says before I cut him off

"I know you use to sleep around before I came into your life so just tell me, did you get tired of being held down by me, do you even work nights?" I asked

"Of course I work nights and I'll never get tired of being with you, I love you and Bailey" he says

"You had a side chick when you was with Jessica, how do i know your not lying to me?" I asked

"Lilly, I'm looking into your eyes and I'm telling you, I'm not cheating on you I'm as confused and shocked as you are" he says

I looked down as the tears start to roll down my face

"Lilly" he says

I look up at him

"It's a blocked phone number it's probably just someone messing with us" he says

"I-I'm S-Sorry" I stuttered

"It's Okay" he says

"I just thought of the first thing,  that came into my head and I just act on it" I say crying harder

"Come here" he says pulling me into a hug

"I'm sorry" I broke down

"Shhh It's Alright" he says rubbing my back

"Go lay down in the room, I'll be there in a sec" he says

I walk into the room sit on the bed, wiping my tears away

I heard grayson tell them to continue the movie without us, he walked into our room with Bailey in his arms

He shut the door and turned on Bailey's nightlight, he gives me Bailey while he takes off his shirt and lays down next to me with Bailey in the middle of us playing with my nose

"I love you Lilly" Grayson says

"I love you too Grayson" I say making the tears comeback
