First Day of Scar's Reign

Yuki's POV

"Wake up Yuki, you need to begin your training" Scar demands as I open my eyes. I see Zira smiling with her teeth on view. "Good you're awake now do as you're told" he states before leaving me alone with Zira.

"Come little one, it is time you learnt the new rules" Zira says as I follow her out of the den. As I looked around I saw Nala with Sarabi and her mum. I so wanted to go and play with her. "You are not to play with her anymore" Zira states when she sees who I am looking at. "You are now mine and Scar's cub, and we do not associate with those lower then us in rank" she explains.

"But aren't all cubs the same rank?" I ask her confused.

"No they are not" Zira snaps before taking a calming breath. "Yuki you are family and Nala is the cub of a rogue. The only reason her and her mother are still around is because we need as many hunters as we can get" Zira tells me. "Do you understand Yuki?" she asks and I nod my head.

"Can I least still visit Aunt Sarabi? She is the only biological family I have" I ask her.

"If you do as you are told, then yes you may" Zira states. "Now watch as I show you how to hunt" she instructs me. That is when I realized we were near a zebra herd. I wanted to remind her that it wasn't zebra season, but kept quiet wanting to see my aunt. She caught one and Scar joined us as we ate.

"Yuki you are going to come with me now to met the hyenas" Scar states firmly. "Afterwards you may go and see Sarabi" he tells me. This made me happy as we left Zira alone. "Zira says you are doing well at following instructions" Scar states.

"Thank you Uncle" I say as I look at the ground as we walk to where the hyenas have set up their base now.

"Want is on your mind my dear niece?" Scar asks me.

"It just Zira won't let me play with Nala anymore and I miss her a lot. It also isn't fair to Nala she has just lost her best friend and now we can't play together. Can I please play with her at least occasionally? As long as I follow yours and Zira's rules?" I explain/ask and state.

Scar thinks it over careful before stopping and looking at me. "I see no reason why you can't play with her twice a week as long as you follow mine and Zira's rules" he states.

"Really?" I ask hopefully and with excitement in my eyes.

"Yes as long as you follow the rules and don't start any problems with the hyenas" Scar says as he starts walking again. I follow him happily, even though I do not want to see the hyenas. "To make sure you stay out of trouble I will have three hyenas watching you, when you are alone" he states. Please not the three idiots I pray in my head.

"Scar we were wondering want was taking you so long" Shenzi says as we reach the hyenas base. Banzai and Ed were with her while the other hyenas were sleeping or fighting over food.

"Shenzi allow me to introduce my niece Yuki, I believe you have met before" Scar states sitting down. I noticed the scratch mark on her cheek where I scratched her as she tried to ate Nala. "I think she wishes to apologize" he says giving me a look. As I went to protest saying I was not sorry at all.

"Yes, I am sorry but you understand. I am sure you would do the same for Banzai or Ed" I say quietly avoiding everyones gaze. Suddenly I was pulled into her body and I resisted the urge to growl.

"I think we are going to get along just fine, want about you Banzai, Ed?" Shenzi asks her two brothers. Ed just laughs as usual nodding his head.

"Of course we will and we can also teach her how to fight properly" Banzai says smirking.

"An excellent idea" Scar states as he gets up. "But that will have to wait until tomorrow" he tells them. They nod their head as Shenzi releases me from her hold. I run back to Scar and follow him to the shading rock.

When we get there I see Sarabi, Sarafina and Nala relaxing by themselves with Tami. "Go have fun, I will inform Zira of the deal" Scar states and I run to them. I tackle Nala and Tami happily as we start to play fight.

"Nice to see you Yuki, how was your day?" Aunt Sarabi asks I as I greet her purring.

"Fine I guess, but I miss you guys" I tell her. "I am also not allowed to play with Nala or Tami every day only twice a week" I explain. Tami was an orphan and a pride member took her in yesterday when Mufasa & Simba died. Scar allowed her to stay which made Nala happy and me as well knowing Nala had someone to keep her company.

"That's unfair" Nala states and Tami nods her head in agreement.

"There is nothing we can do, Scar is the king now" Sarabi reminds us. "I just hope you have a girl Sarafina" she states.

"Girl?" Nala, Tami and I ask confused tilting our heads.

"I am pregnant, but you can't tell anyone okay" Sarafina tells us with a smile. We all cheered and gently placed our heads on her tummy. It was still small. "You won't feel anything for a while yet children" she says with a chuckle.

For the rest of the day I played with Nala and Tami. We practiced hunting and fighting before getting a bath. Sarabi then took me back to pride rock where Zira met us. She said nothing as she picked my up and carried me into the den where Scar was already sleeping.
