In the dark of night, the creatures of dark prowl .
"Please, please. Don't let him die. I'll do anything", Kaya begged, voice fading into the dark of night. Suddenly, as if triggered by her words, the atmosphere shifted, ominous clouds rolled over the horizon as a shadowed man, seemingly human except for the large bat-like wings flaring out behind him, coalesced from the shadows.
"Truly, you will do anything?"
"Yes" she replied, voice firm, determined tilt to her chin. The demon smiled, and the sight chilled her to the bone.
"You would even, say, sell your soul?" he asked.
"And this will bring him back?" The girl questioned, the unknown man nodded.
Decision made the girl lent forward and grabbed hold of the demon, pressing her mouth to his- sealing the deal. She recoiled from the kiss, even as her eyes dulled and she drew her last breath, limp body falling to the ground as her being was plunged into the Underworld.
