It was the day of the Hogsmeade visit and Parvati and Lavender were both in the Entrance hall, waiting for Harry and Abelard- the boy from Durmstrang.
"I heard Hermione and Krum are going to Hogsmeade together," Lavender told Parvati.
"Really? I would have thought she wouldn't leave Ron by himself..." Parvati mused, adjusting her Gryffindor scarf.
"Well, that's what I heard from Abelard. That Viktor Krum was going to be going to Hogsmeade with the girl from the ball!"
"Well, maybe Abelard is wrong. I can't see Hermione leaving Ron alone to go on a date."
"Vell that is vhat Viktor said." Parvati whirled around and saw two boys dressed in Durmstrang furs approaching.
Parvati flushed slightly, looking at both boys. One was the boy Lavender was going with, Abelard and the other Parvati didn't recognise.
"Well, maybe Ron is going with Dean and Seamus." Said Parvati, and the Lavender shrugged, smiling at Abelard.
"I am Abelard," the boy said with a very strong accent, holding out his hand to Parvati. The latter shook the hand before letting Abelard sweep Lavender to one side.
"And I am Rudi," said the boy, his accent even thicker than Abelard's.
"I am Parvati, it is nice to meet you," Parvati said and shook Rudi's hand as well.
"The pleasure is all mine," said Rudi, holding onto Parvati's hand for longer than was appropriate.
"Er, yes. Well, I think Harry will be here so-" Said Parvati, attempting to pull her hand out of Rudi's grip.
"Perhaps you will be interested in coming to Hogsmeade with me and my friends," Rudi said, smiling coldly and not releasing hold of Parvati's small hand.
Parvati couldn't back away from him because of the firm grip on her hand. "Actually I'm going with Harry Potter so no thank you." Parvati managed to wrench her brown hand out of Rudi's pale ones and backed away.
Rudi walked towards her, still smiling. "But he isn't here and I am."
Parvati felt something hard against her back and realised she had been backed into the wall. Rudi continued to walk closer until a voice cut through the air.
"I am here, please step away from her." It was Harry. Parvati let out a sigh of relief as she saw Harry appear on the marble staircase; his wand drawn, pointing straight at Rudi.
"Harry," Parvati sighed as Rudi stepped away from her. Harry hurried down the stairs, his wand still drawn. Rudi sneered and pulled out his own wand,
"You are only fourteen, little boy." Rudi smirked, pointing his wand at Harry "I have three years more education."
The two boys pointed their wands at each other when Parvati decided to take matters into her own hands.
"Okay, Rudi. Shut up and leave otherwise I will cause you a lot of pain." She warned. Rudi turned his sneer to her but kept his wand on Harry who edged closer to both of them.
"Vhat vould you do, little Parvati? Break my heart?" Rudi laughed at his own joke.
"No, but I will do this." Said Parvati, then, she stepped closer so they were only an arm's length apart, picking up her right foot and slammed it where the sun doesn't shine.
With a groan, Rudi collapsed onto the ground, his hands clutching his crotch.
"See, this is what wizards always forget about," Parvati said matter-a-factly as she walked over to Harry who was beginning to laugh.
