The sky was empty.
There were no clouds and there was only blue. Through the haze of her darkened vision, she could only remember that this was not right. It was dark before. Everything was so bright and heavy, her eyes refused to open all the way. She felt grass tickle her legs and hands and the back of her neck. There was so much pain, but there was no telling where it was coming from. Moving was impossible and her vision quickly began to darken once again. She heard voices calling in the distance...
