~Grayson's POV~
I shake my head and go up the stairs to Jades room where she locked herself."Can you let me in?" I ask. "No." She answered. "Why not?" I ask. "Because I'm fucking covered in itchy red rashes!" She yelled.
"And?" I ask. "Please go away!" She asked. "I'm not leaving till you open the door." I stated. "Then you'll be sitting there forever." She stated.
Emily walks up the stairs. "Who's that?" Jade asked referring to the sound of footsteps. "Emily?!" I answered. "Is she here to finish the job? Hives can only do so much." Jade stated.
"Listen Jade I'm sorry." Emily spoke. "I do not forgive you." Jade said. "Now go away!" She ordered.
"Please? I just want to talk. And apologize. If you don't like my apology, or can't forgive me, I'll sleep on the couch. You don't even have to be in the same room with me." Emily said sincerely.
Jade opens the door with a shirt over her face. "Come in!" She said. Emily walks inside.
I stand up about to walk in as well but she pressed her hand against my chest and pushed me out. "Not you!" She told me and shut the door.
"What did I do?" I ask. "Just go away!" She ordered. "Geez. Okay!" I say and walk downstairs. "I'm not the one who poisoned you and you let her in." I say as I walk.
~Emily's POV~
I sit in my bed and look at Jade, who buried herself under her covers, hiding her face. "Now explain, why the hell you thought this was a good idea!" She ordered angrily."Look I'm really sorry. It was impulsive." I stated. "What did I do to you? I've been nothing but nice to you, and you clearly find it funny to terrorize me. If there's something I did to make you hate me so much just say it!" She demanded, hurt.
"Jade I don't hate you! And I don't find it funny to terrorize you-"
"Then why the hell did you do it?" She asked. "Because I'm jealous!" I admit. She was about to start ranting again but stopped.
"What? Jealous of what?" She asked. "Can you please take the cover off?" I question. She turns to face the wall and took the cover off of her head. "Happy?" She asked coldly.
I sigh. "I'm jealous of you and Grayson!" I answered. "So you do like him?" She asked, sounding hurt.
"No! No, I'm just jealous that you two are always together. You're not even his girlfriend, 'supposedly', and he looks at you like you're the most interesting thing in the room. You're taking my best friend from me, I just feel the need to protect him. And the best way to do that was to drive you away." I confessed, kinda.
"Why didn't you just say something? I would've backed off! Like I was trying to say earlier you were here first. I can't just move in and expect to take him away from you. You've been friends for like forever. If you felt left out you should've just said something! Instead you freaking tried to poison me." Jade spoke softly at first but snapped again.
"I know. That was so stupid of me. I immediately regret it after I did it. I was so caught up in my jealousy I forgot that you had feelings of your own. I shouldn't have done it, and if you can forgive me I'll do anything to make it up to you I promise." I said honestly.
"Okay. You want to make it up to me? Tell me the truth!" She ordered. "What do you want to know?" I ask furrowing my eyebrows.
"Do you like Grayson? Even the tiniest bit? I just want to know, don't lie to me!" She asked.
"I-" The words choked up in my throat, for the second time. I don't understand why I can't just say it? I don't!
"N-no! I-I- I don't." I guessed. She nodded slowly. "I forgive you. But can I at least be alone? Until these things go away? Can you give me that?" She asked.
