Ever really wish you had an awesome soundtrack to read to, write to, or just jam out with and feel like you're in the same head-space as the characters? Yeah, me too. I've been using music and lyrics for years to help me picture the worlds that I create. Certain phrases, certain artists, and even certain melodies resonate with different characters and plots. For me, it's about the psychology of it. I decided to add the lyrics to each chapter to give you an idea of the symbolism/metaphor/tone of each chapter in their headers. And I'll also explain that on my personal favorites below.
Confession: I am a music hound. My taste ranges so far and wide that most people don't even understand my Spotify or Apple libraries. (I blame working in the radio industry during college.)
