I saw her today, our eyes met for a second before she found something more interesting then someone who once meant the world to her. It hurt so much, it felt like I just fell on concrete. My whole body started shaking and I was wrecked. Her eyes, they got me. I fell in love with her eyes, thats when I knew there was no going back. I need to get over this, I'm just a memory now and she's all my memories. But just maybe she'll see something that remind her of me and the things we used to spend talking about at night and then her throat will get tight and her heart will skip a beat and she'll miss me. It just is so crazy how someone who meant the world to you can go back to being strangers. Well whatever we are I still remember the way we were.
