It was all a lie

Chapter 13

"You okay now" I am just it has been like ten minutes since my outburst and since then we have been hugging

"not just yet I am still angry" he says with a hint of happiness that smart ass played me

"you ass" I say punching him playfully on his shoulders and he chuckles

"I like hugging you...... I need to talk to your father fast" he suddenly became dead serious

"about what"

"you know about what..... And Emma you are still having this blood test but not alone I won't leave your side a second"

"Josh please" I say trying to fight the tears that are threatening to fall

"I am sorry" is all he says as he kisses me on the forehead. Then he pushes me to a chair and the doctor comes holding a needle

"Josh please no please it took me a year to be over it and actually getting out of the house"

" don't worry it won't happen again no one will ever hurt you again not while I am alive" then I fell it the needle entering my flesh and I burst in tears and when he is done I push Josh off of me and run to my room

"Emma please wait"

"no leave me alone" suddenly I feel dizzy and I stop and Josh runs to me

"you shouldn't have run you feel dizzy cause you just lost blood" when he finishes his sentence it was as if I didn't have legs anymore and I fall in his arms and he catches me taking me to God knows where

"it is all going to be okay" was the last thing I heard before I was out

When I woke up I was in my room and my parents were sitting next to me playing with my hair

"mom"

"oh sweetheart you are finally awake how are you"

"I am fine" dad nods kissing me on the forehead

" sweety we need to tell you something" he says seriously

"when your mom was pregnant with you we had a visit from a very important person....... The moon goddess she..... She came to tell us about your future.... She said that you will be the future moon goddess after her and that we need to protect you. Cause a lot of people would want to either use your blood to become powerful as you know it already happened and people would want to use your powers or even.....want to produce powerful future rulers"

"what"I ask in disbelief as I stare at my parents
"why why do you keep lying to me why do hide everything from me"I ask sobbing

"we thought we were protecting you" my mom says in defence

"well you have done an amazing job you should both start an acting career one day"

"Emma honey please" they both say

"no please leave me" I say and when they were gone Josh came in
" you too leave"

"no I am staying,  look Emma I know it is hard but I am here for you just let me help you"

" I don't need no help" he just shakes his head and comes near me and he actually hugs me

"it is okay everything is going to be okay" and there I completely lost it I just start crying

"they lied to me about everything "

" shhhhh I know I know" after a couple of hours of me just crying I decide to ask him about the blood test

"anytime"

" so what did the blood test say"

" I was right you are gonna shift soon maybe on the next full moon"

" full moon!!!!  When is that"

" in two days"

" what oh god what am I gonna do"

" don't worry I will be there with you I will help you through it all,  don't worry the doc says that the pain should start tomorrow this is why while you were out I did all the work that I had to spend these two next days with you"

" thanks.... Wait that reminds me you jerk sold me out you let him take my blood"

"please I will do anything" and  my frown was replaced with a smirk
