Thank you, TamaraVaughn-Jespers for voting on many/all chapters!

HELLO, my dear readers who decided to keep this book in their libraries after four months of no updates... thank you for sticking around XD Many things have happened in that time if you want to know I will explain at the end of the chapter.

Vesper's P.O.V.

It's been a week since I blacked out, and since Jack left to search for his runaway mate. And within this week, I felt nothing but eyes watching me, burning holes into my very soul. Not that I mind. Instead of thinking that it was creepy, that I have a stalker on me, I actually feel protected under their gaze as weird as it sounds. I mean I've tried going out and looking for them, but I end up finding nothing. All I can do is wait for them to come out and talk to me if they plan to that is.

Alright, I really should be disturbed but I'm not. Oops.

Anyways, besides that everyone in the pack has been on edge since Jack's second disappearance. No one has seen him once, and that makes his parents nervous seeing as Jack is their only child as well as the only person fit to lead the warrior werewolves. Not to mention Tara has been going bat shit crazy over losing her only son because she slapped and screamed at him, thinking that it's her fault that he is gone.

I'm actually comforting her right now, we are on her couch in her home.

"Peri, does he hate me?" Tara asks.

"No, Tara, I can assure you he doesn't. He's just going through things right now. You know with his mate?" I hug her close to me.

"Why hasn't he brought his mate here with us? I don't understand what the problem is!" She sobs onto my shoulder.

I sighed, petting her hair to tame the beast within.

"Tara, I honestly don't know when he will be back and I don't want you to suffer any longer. You must keep this between us. OK? Not even your mate may know." I said seriously as I pulled her away from my shoulder.

She quickly wipes her tear filled face and nods her head, "Please. I promise just tell me my son is alright!"

I ran a hand through my brown silky hair, weighing my decision. His mother deserves to know.

"Jack is mated to a pure blood," no point in sugar coating it.

Her face sad face shaped into one of shock and disbelief.

I continued, "I know, it seems impossible and will most likely be looked down upon because of the war. But it's true. Jack is drawn to him and has been trying to win his heart since he first saw him. Something happened along the way, causing his first disappearance and now his second. That's all I know. I'm sorry you weren't told about this sooner, but now knowing I'm sure you understand."

I observed her reaction, and I almost smiled. I could tell she didn't care that his mate is a pureblood, she only wants her son back safe and sound.

Before we could further our conversation, Enrique came back from a raid.

"Ves, Tara," He looks to me then lands his sight on her.

His eyebrows furrow in concern and I take that as my cue to leave. I kiss Tara's cheek and whispered a reminder of her promise.

"Have a goodnight," I say and close the front door behind me.

I rub my forehead and make my way home, today wasn't a very good day.  I walk a few houses down and went into my home. It was quiet, lonely. Unlike me, my home wasn't very stylish, only containing necessities and pictures of my two friends and me. I pick up one of the frames. It was a self Jack took of us with him and Axel at both my sides kissing my cheek. Simpler times when there weren't any duties, responsibilities, nothing. We just had fun without a care in the world. But I'd be a fool to wish it all back... A tear escapes. I am a fool. I can never go back, I know. I just can't stop crying and thinking about all the good memories the three of us had together. Now that Jack is gone and not hearing a peep about his well-being, is making me worry.

"I am such a fool," I said aloud. I shouldn't have let him go alone.

A/N: Alright so here's what's up. Since January I've been in a creative writing class and now a multicultural lit class. Since it's a requirement for HS graduation (I'm a senior), and my favorite class, I've been putting all my effort into submitting my best work. Which I know doesn't really show here but you know whatever. Also, I have tried updating before it's just that Vesper's character isn't being portrayed right in my mind so it is a bit hard to write this part of their story.

So please, keep sticking around and show some love if you'd like to by leaving positive comments and voting. (Obviously, I give shout outs to those who do a lot)  I would really appreciate it, thank you! Another thing, this story will be shorter than the first, maybe 15-20 short chapters and then we will move onto Axel's side of the story. Jack and Garrett will come back.

Also...WE GOT 6K READS!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Thank you all for reading!
