His heart skipped a beat.

"Niall!" He shouted, not glancing away from the girl sitting at his feet.

"What is it?" He sang back.

"Turn on the lights and then leave." He ordered.

Harry was not afraid of anything but now, he was truly afraid of the light. Of what he might see.

The lights were turned on, and he almost wanted to look away.

In front of him, was Ava. She had a spilt lip and a blossoming bruise on her cheek. But what caused Harry's heart to twist the most was the utter fear in her wide teary eyes.

"Oh god, Ava-" he started, crouching once again but she flinched away.

He bit his lip wanting to kill Niall because Ava was chained to the wall.

"I'm going to unlock these chains but you are not going to try to run, okay?" He told slowly.

She stared at him, tears still staining her cheeks.

He unlocked them and slowly stood up, offering a hand to her.

She stood up, without taking his hand.

"Follow me." Harry swallowed, turning around, hoping she would follow.

She did.

When they got to a room, he sharply turned around. But before he can say anything she cut in.

"Let me go." Ava said expressionlessly, her tears now dry.

"I can't." He closed his eyes, wishing she would understand.

"Why not?" She asked calmly. Too calmly.

"You might tell someone, and I can't risk it. You'll have to stay here for a while." He explained, staring at her hazel eyes.

A few tears escaped from her wide hazel eyes.

She walked around, her shoulders shaking from her silent sobs.

"How can this be happening to me?" She sobbed to the ceiling. She walked back and fourth for a while, wiping her tears angrily.

She stopped walking around in the room and looked at him straight in eye.

"You let me go now! Now!" She shouted, pushing his chest.

Even if he wanted to, he couldn't.

"I'm sorry." He said, looking down.

"Please, Harry." She begged, her voice now thick with tears.

"No." He sternly said, turning around and closing the door on her crying face.

After he locked it, he stood there for a moment.

If saw her crying face again, he would have for sure gave in and let her go.

He sighed and walked away. He couldn't help but to feel a little guilty. After all, he was kind of kidnapping her.

Like if you haven't done that before.

He shook away his thoughts as he entered his office.

Ava disliked Harry very much. She thought he was good but she thought wrong.

After she ran out of tears, she stood up. She was determined to get out of Harry's mansion.

Right when she was about to pound on the door, it burst open.
In came a boy with blonde hair and light blue eyes.
