Your Lies

The sun is beaming down upon the scorched grass,

just like the time that i spoke to you last.

Under the clean moon,

as it hits the horizon.

I know now not to push away unsettling thoughts,

when you want something that I do not.

Life is demanding,

without understanding me.

Gaze into to the eyes of someone else,

And forget all of my lies.

You have a heart bigger than the world itself,

You silenced my cries.

Devotees follow your every move,

Without ever having seen a sincere you,

I wanted you,

Desired you,

But I never needed you.

My head to your heart,

My heart in your hands,

In that moment I forgot all my plans.

Sometimes a man gets carried away,

When he feels like he should have his fun.

Because everybody cries,

And everybody lies,

But very few get to gaze into your eyes.

Your hands,

Your eyes,

My life,

Your lies.
