Nicki
"Hi. Cassidy. Hey Caiah." I said and I sat the balloons and teddy bear down on the table.
"Hey sis." Caiah said walking to me to give me a hug. I went to Cassidy and smiled.
"How you feeling?" I asked as I held her hand.
"In pain. These contractions keep coming." She said and I sighed.
"I know how you feel." I said.
"I see aunties baby got a strong heartbeat." I said and Cassidy smiled.
"Yes he does. It's so beautiful." She said.
"Owww. Here's another one." She said and I held her hand.
"Keep steady breaths. Its okay." I said rubbing the back if her hand.
"It hurts." She cried and shut her eyes tightly.
"I know baby girl. I know." Once the contraction was over she exhaled deeply.
"Baby. Get me some ice please. This is hurting so badly." Cassidy said to Caiah.
"Im never going through this again, all this pain for one baby." She said.
"I know. But it's all worth it. Trust me." She nodded and smiled.

I left the room when Cassidy was having the baby. Only my mom, Cassidy's mom, and Caiah were in the room during the birth. They didn't want too many people in the room because of germs. My mom came late but just in time to see the baby being born.
"You can come back in sis." Caiah said and I walked in to see Cassidy holding the baby in a blanket with tears in her eyes.
"Nicki, you were right. This was all worth it." She said and I smiled hard.
"Let me wash my hands so I can hold him." She nodded. Once I washed my hands I walked over to her and gently took the baby out her arms. I moved the blanked down some and looked at his face.
"He's so beautiful. What's the name you guys picked?" I said and smiled at him.
"His name is Caleb Roan Maraj. He's so perfect. Ten fingers, ten toes. And he's healthy. Eight pounds, seven ounces. And hopefully he opens his eyes, they're such a pretty brown." She told me and I smiled.
"That's such a beautiful name. I absolutely love that he has your last name as his middle name. It's fits so well." I told her.
"Her last name won't be Roan for long though." Caiah said pecking her lips.
"My advice is to wait a little bit. At least till you senior year of college." They nodded as I turned my attention back to the baby.
"Hey baby boy. I'm Auntie Nicki. I'll be your favorite. If you ask your parents for something and they say no. Ask me next." I whispered to him and he began to open his eyes.
"Now you wanna look at me cause I'm giving something to you." I said and he blinked slowly.
"Oh my god, his eyes. They're so pretty." I cooed. I kissed his soft cheek.
"I love you baby boy. You're my first nephew." I said in realization that my brother had his first baby.
"Did Caleb eat yet?" I asked Cassidy.
"No. The nurse will be in here shortly to give me instructions on breastfeeding." She said and I nodded, handing the baby back to her.
"Hey, you hungry muffin?" She asked him and I smiled at what she called him. The nurse walked in and got Caleb on a feeding pillow because he wouldn't latch on. But after a couple minutes he started eating. The nurse left and Cassidy motioned for me to come here.
"Why does it hurt?" She whispered to me.
"It's because your breasts fill with milk and they will probably feel swollen and tender. It'll go away." I said and she nodded and lifted the blanket a little to check on him.
"You was hungry baby. Mommy sorry she didn't feed you sooner." She said talking to Caleb. Meek called my phone.
*Phone Convo*
N- "Hey baby"
M-"Hey Nic, was the baby born yet?"
N-"Yes he was. Caleb Roan Maraj."
M-"That's good. I'm making dinner right now so if you want to head home now that would be good so your food won't get cold."
N-"I was about to head out now anyways to get to my kids. And... Dreams feeding time is in 7 minutes."
M-"I know. I'll see you when oh get here. I love you."
N-"I love you too."
*Phone Convo ended*
"Alright y'all. I'm headed out." I said grabbing everyone's attention.
"Bye sis. Love you." Cassidy said, now burping Caleb.
"Bye Cassidy. Bye muffin." I said to Cassidy and Caleb.
"Caiah!" I said smacking his leg because he was sleep.
"What Nika?" He asked and I laughed.
"I'm leaving." I kissed his forehead and said goodbye to my mom and Cassidy's mom before leaving the hospital.
•••
"I'm home!" I sung walking in. Meek had Dream in his lap and Papi was sitting across from them at the table.
"Mommy!" Papi said running to me. I kissed his cheek.
"Hey, I missed you Pap." I said and he smiled.
"I missed you too." He said. Dream hit the table with her hands as she looked at me. I pecked Meeks lips as I took the baby out his arms.
"Hey punkin' you miss me? Huh?" I kissed her chubby cheeks.
"Your food is in the microwave." Meek said and I smiled.
"You're such a good babydaddy." I said to him giggling.
"I have to tell you something." Meek said looking down.
"What?" I said as my smile faded, noticing his expression.
"I don't think you want to have this conversation in front of the kids yet." I began to get nervous and I think that's what caused Dream to cry.
"Well. Let me put her down and we'll talk ok. It looks like our son is done eating so help him get cleaned up and ready for bed. I'll talk to you when I'm done putting her to sleep." I said and went upstairs and changed Dream into her night clothes and made her a warm bottle feeding her. I burped her then rocked her to sleep. I put her down then went into the room with Meek.
"What's going on?" I asked and Meek sat up.
"Uh, see well we're moving..."
