Chapter 6:
Marco decided to come back to the dorm late at night, about 10:30 pm, to grab some more clothes and such. He planned it this way so he wouldn't have to confront Jean. This didn't work so well though, as he didn't know about the other male's sleep deprivation. He found Jean shirtless, laying on the couch, eyes pried open. Marco paused as he examined his lover's thin torso and sickly face. He suddenly felt a glimpse of guilt inside his chest. Jean tried to say something but it came out hoarse and dry. "Marco... please come back..." Marco shut the door and kneeled next to the everything deprived Jean. "I'm listening this time." He spoke with gentleness and caring in his voice. Jean sat up, slouched and tired. "I'm so sorry. I never should've even started with Mikasa. I'll never flirt with anyone but you again I promise just please come back." Sadness showed in his words. "It's okay. I love you. You can still flirt but keep it innocent, okay?" Jean smiled and took his lover's head in his arms and kissed his forehead.
"I love you too."
