Andy had been on tour for a while, 4 months to be exact. Now normally this hadn't been an issue, but your daughter Amaris was now 3 which was a bit of a hassle. She had tried her hardest to be good, but she's 3 and really missed her dad. Her and Andy had this crazy other type of bond where she looked up to him because he was cool and had such a deep kind heart. It had been hard when she'd have meltdowns or crying sessions because Daddy wasn't there and she wanted him not you. But for the most part, taking care of her had been easy. Andy wasn't due home for another 3 weeks, and you thought Amaris would never make it that long. But...

He picked up Amaris and hugged and kissed her before setting her down to pick you up. You kissed him for a few minutes before Amaris dragged him into the den to play. That's when Andy told you that the last few tour dates had ben canceled due to weather in that area and he was home early.
