Masks can be dawned,
tears can be hidden,
but look closely at them and see,
that the smiles are fake,
the laughs are forced,
all just to put people at ease.
But look closely and see,
the truth and the pain,
the tears and the grief;
and all that is hidden.
Go, hug them and hold them,
and tell them that it's ok to cry and to grieve.
that it is ok not to be strong sometimes,
because they are so strong,
all the time.
