Pukwudgie: The heart is fabled to be as deep as the ocean and hide many secrets, so I like to believe that of all the Ilvermorny houses, Pukwudgie is the most secretive. The Pukwudgie commons would be like a shadowy cathedral with candles that float and move around. There is a large shelf-area that has cures but also poisons- all of which were created by students. The Pukwudgie commons would smell like frankincense incense.
Thunderbird: The soul is known to be a free spirit in the cage of the person, so I like to believe that Thunderbirds bend the rules a lot- making them the first to challenge authority when something questionable happens. The Thunderbird commons would be warm, spacious, and cozy. There would be a lot of hidden doors along the walls that lead to secret rooms that students can explore or use for a quiet place to study. The Thunderbird commons would smell like lotus incense.
Horned-Serpent: The mind is the control center of the body and heart, so I like to believe that Horned-Serpents are not just bookworms, but they are also engineers. The Horned-Serpent Commons would be a mahogany multi-story library. There are also many strange inventions that were created by students. The Horned-Serpent commons smell like amber incense.
Wampus: The body houses the mind, soul, and heart, so I like to believe that Wampuses are the defense and offense of Ilvermorny. The Wampus commons would be like a fire-lit throne room. There are many tapestries along the walls depicting victorious battles with famous wizards and witches. There is a lot of open space for duels- or alternatively, dancing! The Wampus commons smell like dragons blood incense.
