After a long struggle, the path is clear
I finally got my answer that i wanted to hear
All i can say: I've lost you forever my dear
I've lived enough through my horrifying confusion
I've expected things far beyond my delusion
But that day, marked the end of my senseless illusion
Both of our pasts known an extended eclipse
So much despair hidden under your red dried lips
But i've promised to be there holding the pain that rips
I've told you : "that you gotta let it go
or your past will be both rival and foe
Take it on with me and go with the flow"
I saw your tears were about to come out
I felt that, deep inside you've exhaled a shouto
I hated it! All i ever wanted was to kill the doubt
But eventually you did it, saying :"I'm not ready
I'm finally having a stable life, so afraid and steady
Just like a lil girl about to sleep hugging her teddy
Even that i expected this by trusting my hunch
your words came out straight like a sucker punch
Not just a one or two, but a whole bunch !
Taking a final step was my ultimate key
unlocking the doubts cell and setting myself free
To a life without you no more, i was about to see
It was all about you and your decision to take
That each one of us deserves a lifetime break
Maybe one day, we'll experience the wide awake
My last best gift was dedicating you a book
baring each memory of us, even your beautiful look
Thus, I have to move on and untie my feelings hook
We had our time together, yet so brief
But we've went outta it with a great relief
Thus, my heart fell just like an autumn's leaf
