Pokémon Sun and Moon: Champion of the Stars

A/N

Hey guys, so you probably saw the change in covers. well that is going to be a temporary cover for "Champion of the Stars". I am trying so desperately to make my own cover for this story and so far, it has been nothing more than just wasted paper and short unfinished drabbles. But either way, there will hopefully be a cover that will stay.

As for the Route this story is takin.... yeah... I know I said I wanted this to be telling the entire story from the game... well because of incoming changes of my schedule* (more info below the dotted line), I kind of decided to just make this into a Lonashipping story (if you guys don't know, that's what many people named for Gladion and Moon (or in this story's case Luma, but her last name is Moon)).

But I won't completely skip certain scenes such as the battle with Plumeria or any of the battles after the Ghost Trial.

Also, I am hoping to work on a second book after I'm done with this one displaying the events during the Ultra Beast missions, but that has yet to be seen as we are still kind of behind in this book (I dunno how many parts I'm hoping to make, but we'll wait and see)

Also, some of you guys maybe wondering "why name the character Luma? Why not just stick with Moon or not give her a name?" Well that's because I decided to make this of not my own trainer, but make Luma her own identity (along with her brother and other character showing up in other stories connecting to this one). Also I purposely started over my copy of moon so it would easier to right this story. But with that said, she is somewhat her own character with her own personality and backstory. But her last name is Moon and she does have the default outfit at the beginning of the story, so basically she is Moon but also not really.

Also everyone does have a set last name to which the ideas came from various other stories from watt pad and tumblr.

(Thank you very much and I hope you don't mind me using these last names for this story, you know who you are and I'm sorry for not stating you name for name.)

Furthermore, I did also mention that I do like picturing certain voices for certain characters in this story, so here's a list of how I'd like their voices just to create some sort of idea (or if you don't want to, then feel free to do as you please, this is just my own thoughts.)

(Also, I'll just mainly be talking about the main four and Rotom and Professor Kukui.)

Luminaria "Luma" Moon

-Erica Lindbeck

So, I did say in the first part of the story that I wanted her to sound like Monica Rial (notably Yona from Akatsuki no Yona) or Megan Emerick (notably from her role as White from Blood Blockade Battlefront), but after careful consideration and binging Your Lie in April, I wanted her to sound similar to (not the same as) Kaori Miyazono.luma is seen to go from very cheerful and bubbly to tenacious and cunning to calm and tempestuous, which is who I think Kaori is like in the show (and taking some characters from the show's word for it)

Not to mention to you guys who have seen "Your Lie in April," you know things are going down from bright to holy crap. Which may prove a lot of foreshadowing for this story.

Lillie Virdis

-Cherami Leigh

So most of you guys may know her as either Lucy Heartfilia from Fairy Tail or as Asuna from SAO. Well from the little knowledge I know from this voice actress, she voiced people such as Sailor Venus/Minako Aino from Sailor Moon, Sunako from Shiki, and Yuri from Blue Exorcist. Also, I really like the quiet voice she has for characters and not to mention when she would confront her mother, now that would be pretty surprising. But since it's been a while since I actually heard a character that Cherami voiced in, my opinion may change.

Also, I would usually picture the voice she has in the anime.

Hau'oli "Hau" la Aloha

Okay now this one kind of stuck out like a sore thumb to me when I thought how Hau would sound like. My first thought was that he needed to be very energetic and enthusiastic about everything. Then I pictured him saying some lines that Pit from Kid Icarus Uprising would say such as the line with the hot spring, or "Floor Ice Cream gives you health."

Then when I read the first line of dialogue Hau said in his first appearance in game, I immediately pictured him with Pit's voice actor, and after that couldn't picture him with any other voice. Also, aside from Pit, his voice actor also voiced as Silas and Percy from Fire Emblem Fates.

(I also thought that he voiced Alfonse from Heroes, but quickly looked at the corner and thought "oh... never mind :p"

Gladion Virdis

Now he was also somewhat difficult to think of a voice for. I was considering someone of the likes of Sam Riegel (but quickly thought Rotom was a better fit) or Rico Fajardo (whom voiced Kyosuke Munakata from Danganronpa 3 and Leon from Garo: the Animation), but then I read a post on how someone
like Micah would be really good. Then I looked at his Wikipedia page and saw that he did the voices for Yukine from Noragami, Gai Tsutsugami from Guilty Crown, Soo-Won from Akatsuki no Yona, and Yu from Seraph of the End. Hearing most of the characters that he voiced, I immediately went through Paniola Ranch and read the first bit of dialogue he had with Yu's voice, and immediately loved how Gladion would sound.

And last but not least for now

Rotom

-Sam Riegel

At first for a small amount of time, I was considering that Sam Riegel would be fitting for Gladion (because he voiced people like Yashiro from K and Viral from Guren Lagaan). But then I read some text from Rotom in game and thought of someone like Teddy from Persona 4 or Stahl from Fire Emblem and thought "okay... this may work..."

But it maybe temporary since I have a hunch that there maybe a pretty good voice for this, but well just wait and see.

Anyways this note may have been pretty long, but it's just a couple of thoughts to get together.

Two being in my school while the other is it's own separate program, not to mention I am also in drama prepping for a call back and getting stuff ready for a vocal competition.
