Knock knock knock

Today is my 2nd day working here. I'm super early. It's 8:55.

I start at 9 :)

Stormie: Laura. I wanted to talk to you.

Stormie said after she opened the door and let me in.

Stormie: your behaviour here yesterday was totally unacceptable.

She paused.

Stormie: I don't want to see that kind of behaviour again. Do you understand?

He gave me that stern look.

Laura: yes, Stormie.

Stormie: it's Mrs Lynch.

Laura: Mrs Lynch.

I said and put my bag down.

I got my phone out, and looked up a pancake recipe.

It doesn't look so hard.

I think.

.......

Laura: breakfast is ready!

I yelled, and the Lynch kids came running down.

Must of the pancakes are burnt. I hope they don't notice.

Ross: uh.....are these cookies or pancakes?

Laura:....I really don't know.

I sat down and got a breakfast bar out of my bag.

Riker: aren't you gonna eat with us?

Riker: asked, and I scoffed.

Laura: I cooked that.....Im not eating it.

I said, and they all pushed they're plates aside.

Ryland: I'm just gonna have cereal.

Rydel: I'll just have an apple.

Thank god Mark and Stormie went to work.

Rydel: hey, you know you're really pretty......what make up do you use? Cause for cheap makeup, it really does look goo--

Laura: I'm like obsessed with ABH.

I said. And her jaw dropped.

Rydel: how can you afford that?

Laura:....same way you can afford it.

I roll my eyes.

Rydel: and god. That's a Channel purse. Did you rob bank or something?

Laura: no. I didn't rob the bank. Can you shut now?

Rydel:.....rude.

She took a bite of her apple.

Riker: hey Laura. Do you wanna watch a movie with us?

Laura: no. I'm busy.

Riker: busy doing what? The house is clean.

Laura:......not watching a movie with you guys.

Riker: why not? We wanna get to know you?
