(Lizard Naomi POV)

"Come on," I gritted my teeth, whining helplessly as Donnie pulled the arrow shaft out of my eye. "It hurts!"

"Can't you hurry up with it, Donnie?" Raph said behind me. Although the pain hurt like shell right now, he was always there to comfort me.

"I'm trying...!" Donnie said, looking thoughtful. "Where's Shol? He could help!"

"He's with Topaz," I said, crying out after he pulled the arrow out. Blood seeped down from my eye and I put my hand over it.

"Ah, ah, ah," Donnie said, grabbing my hand and replacing it quickly with a biotic cloth. "There."

"Julie's aim was true...." I said, looking down. "Damn that hurt..."

"Well, at least it didn't hit any vitals," Donnie said, stepping back to grab more bandaging. I was beaten up like a loosing wrestling opponent. It sucked because that hardly ever happened with me.

"It hit her eye!" Raph snapped. "I think that's called a vital!"

"Raph, stop... You know Donnie talks when he's upset or stressed. Especially with Julie gone...."

"Because it was my fault..." Donnie set his hands on the table and leaned on them, letting his head drop. His body started to shake.

"You can't stop death, Donnie..." I sighed, looking down. I knew the feeling. I've died more than anyone in this family and yet I'm still breathing yet not a zombie. Shol and Glitch could be the only two I thank for that.

Donnie's jaw tightened and his fists clenched. "I've lost her over so many times though!"

"And you will more," I said. "That's how us girls deal with this kind of stuff. By getting close and facing it."

"But she shot you," Donnie looked at me, tears forming on the edges. "She's long gone now."

"Not unless we try and get her back," I sighed, flicking my tail. Raph's eyes immediately darted to it, wanting to mess with it. But I rolled my eyes and flicked my tail again, making sure he'd look away. Thankfully, he did.

"You just tried!" Donnie cried. He gestured to my eye and I gritted my teeth. "And you lost your eye, Dogpound mutated, and Karai chaining you up! You're lucky we freaking found you still alive with all the blood you lost!"

I growled, my tail whipping out on its own. "At least I tried, you scared dick!"

"I did try!" he shouted at me. "No, she'd rather have Dogpound in his new and more annoying mutation!"

"Hey!" Leo rushed in. "Easy!"

"Tell him," I snapped, jerking my head to Donnie.

"Donnie..." Leo started.

"Don't, Leo," Donnie growled. He paused and sighed, "Where's Shol? I don't want to bandage Naomi's eye till he comes."

A massive popping sound came from the main room as a portal was opened and closed. Two sets of four paws and talons landed on the concrete. A soft rumbling came from one of them too.

"Shol! Topaz!" I heard Sophie call to them. "About time you came back. Naomi tried to get Julie back and her eye got an arrow stuck in it."

A large sigh followed and talons clinked and scraped on the ground as a white head popped in the lab, staring at me. Blue eyes spect with gold stared at me. He looked at me in disappoint.

"Naomi...." his deep voice resonated grouch the lab.

I smiled sheepishly, flicking my tail. "I wanted my sister back...."
