CHAPTER TWO

Translation: "I can't get you off my mind."

You and Akise gazed into each other's eyes, mouths extended into wide grins that reached until your ears. It was as if you and Akise have known each other for a long time, that even though you just met a few hours ago, calling each other by your first names without honorifics sounds..natural.

Was it just you? Or does Akise feel the same?

The white-haired latter scratched his nape, breaking his gaze at you. You felt disappointment arousing in your chest. Why can't he look at me longer?

He opened his lips a little, and he thought of something to say in this situation. Struggling at first, he was about to let the words come out of his mouth when Hinata's voice suddenly came from below.

"[Y/N]-chan! Akise-kun! Hayaku, hayaku! It looks like it's about to rain soon!" You tilted your head to the side, and saw Hinata at the other side of the overpass, flailing her arms in the air. Again, her stomach was exposed, tan skin visible underneath. Mao stared at her belly with gleaming eyes.

You glanced at Akise, and saw that he was staring at Hinata's stomach as well. His expression bore no malice or perverseness. Most guys would either ogle at Hinata's built figure, or look away while blushing. Akise did neither. You felt kind of relieved, but an unexpected hot feeling formed in your chest and face.

Your hands secretly balled into fists as you looked back at Hinata, who's still waiting for you two to get off the overpass. Both of you slowly started to walk in slow paces. The feeling in your chest is hard to shake off.

You want to scream, cry and shout. You want to take out your anger on someone. You want Akise to look at your stomach, only at your stomach. And if he continues to look at Hinata like that..

You thought of doing something.. real.. real.. bad.

This feeling...

What is this feeling?

"You two slowpokes, can't you walk faster?" Hinata whined, tapping your back while puffing her cheeks. You suck in a sharp breath, and forced a chuckle.

"Gomen, gomen." You hummed, playing with the sleeves of Akise's hoodie wrapped around your waist. You blushed, knowing that this is Akise's possession.
