Sydney's POV
So I get changed into my regular clothes and I run in the hallway hoping no one sees m- shit oh shit oh my gosh I hear feet and turn around and of course it's fucking Ryder, he runs over damn he runs fast but I ran faster and got into my Mint green Lamborghini Aventador and drove off.
I look in my rear view mirror and see him about to run to his car and follow me but his friends call him over. Thank god that was too close
Ok I'm here...oh did I forget to tell you I illegally race? Well I do bc that's they only money I can get for me and my brother bc our parents died in the gang and since my brother is lazy I have to run it, I love it but I mainly race for money for our house and stuff.
I go up to the guy John who runs the place and he knows me so I use my name Sydney to sign in and you are Probably wondering why I wouldn't use a fake name well thats because no one at school knows my name cus I'm the nerd so.
"Sydney vs Ryder" says John...oh shit shit I run to my car and put my helmet on and drive my car up to the line and then I see Ryder's car he has a black Dodge Camaro.
John walks over and says "how much babe?" Because he knows imma girl cus I've been racing since I was younger but he doesn't tell anyone. "10 grand" I say with a smirk on my face. John walks over to Ryder and says "pay up they said 10 grand" and he says "ok"
3..2...1....go! Our cars zoom past and he's in lead and since I've been here I know if u go that fast ur gonna spin out because u can't make the drift...so as I said before, he spins out and I hit the drift perfectly and he catches up so I speed ahead hit another perfect drift when he can't get it yet and zoom past the finish line.
I pull over and go over to John and he says, "I knew you could do it babe" and I say "thanks" giving him a hug...and no we're not dating....
John runs over to Ryder and asks him for the money, at first John refuses then his friend Max stands behind him and might I add Max is like 8ft tall really wide and buff so everybody's scared of him...well unless you've known him as long as I did
He's like one of those intimidating people to others but he's like a giant teddy bear to his close friends so obviously John tells him I'm here and he screams my name and Ryder's face was hilarious because he thought I was gonna get hit instead Max hugged me and Ryder's face was so surprised
Oh shit shit "max!" I say "what baby?" I've known him too for a while, "he's coming over here and he doesn't know who I am and I don't want him to?" Cus secretly I'm still scared of him.."ok baby I got you just stand behind me" "ok" I say more like a whisper tho
