*Aliyah's POV*

I couldn't help but appreciate August and his kindness. Knowing this thug ass nigga had a soft spot for me had me feeling like I was special. I'm glad he didn't let that go down because he was right, I probably would have regretted every last bit of it. But who knows really? August had this body that any girl would go crazy for.. And his tattoos cover his body so nicely. His caramel skin shows off the color filled in his tats with ease. When he smiles at me my body gets weak and I melt inside. I've never felt like this before. Whether it be my grief or my actual attraction for August I was feeling him, in each and every way. Deep down inside I feel like if it's gonna happen then it's gonna happen, who cares when?

What the hell am I talking about... I'm suppose to lose my virginity to someone who is gonna be in my life for a long time, who isn't going anywhere. August did say he wasn't going anywhere, but words can be told and they can be false. But august hasn't lied to me yet... That I know of.

I looked up at August and stared him in his eyes. There was no place I'd rather be right now, honestly. Then I thought about Trey. August broke my thoughts.

"I was comin to ask you if you wanted to ride wit me to the mall ma? Just get you out of the house for a lil."

"Let's go." I smiled at August. He put his arm around me and we headed out of his house, got in his car & started towards the mall.

When we pulled up to the mall and me and August got out of the car I felt my phone vibrate. I didn't bother to look at it because I already had an idea of who it could of been. August put his arm around me and I couldn't help but smile and he laughed and held me tighter. It felt like we were a couple or something but I knew it was too soon for all that. But August seemed to be interested in me in that way... Which was odd because guys like him don't usually main girls. They seem more of the player type. But I guess that's why they say never judge a book by it's cover. I should of never judged August, he could be much more different than I thought he was in the very beginning.

"Ma, I just wanna take ya mind of things. Keep you occupied and smilin. That's my job, and Ima make that happen for you. So if you see somethin you want, I gotchu." He suprised me with his words.

"Oh no August, I don't need anymore favors you've done enough." As soon as the words escaped my mouth August stopped me from walking and looked me in my eyes and held my hand.

"Aliyah, lemme take care of you. I just wanna make you happy. I see somethin in you I don't see in otha girls. Iono what it is but it's somethin. If I wanna spend on you, lemme do that. It doesn't hurt to let othas care for you." I gulped... I didn't have any other choice but to let August show his affection how he wished to.

"Okay, but August. I just want you to know that you've already shown me you care without prices.. And lavish things. You've told me how you felt, and you've acted as though you care for me. That's all I need. But if you want to spend on me I won't argue!" I laughed and he smiled as we continued to walk through multiple stores.

August bought me the newest Jays & some steezy chucks. He bought me a few pairs of my favorite Hollister jeans, my favorite perfume "Nollie" from Pacific Sunwear and bought me a charm bracelet with one charm to start me off. The first charm August bought was a little gold book, it was closed.

"When I feel like I can read you I'll buy you anotha charm. Right nah it's like ya' a closed book ma, you got a story.. I just gotta get it outta you." August spoke with deep words and it made me think and realize how real his words really were. He doesn't just speak to speak. He means the stuff he says, or he just puts on a really good act.

We left the mall as August toted most of my bags, leaving me with just one to carry.

The day was going so good, I couldn't think of one thing to go wrong. Then I saw a Mustang. A very familiar Mustang.... It was Treys.

I couldn't get a good view of the driver but I saw a girl in the passenger seat, clearly. This girl was not Trey's sister Tracey. Then just as I was getting a better view I saw the guy kiss this girl. My heart dropped.. Instantly. No, that couldn't of been Trey. No way. He wouldn't.

He probably thought I wouldn't either, and I did. I kissed another guy. & not just any guy.. But a guy I was starting to gain feelings for. A guy I almost lost my virginity to not too long ago. A guy who just dropped 2K on me, easily.

I registered what I just saw and I heard August's voice and his deep New Orleans accent. "Liyah? You iite?"

"Y-yeah.. I'm great. Let's go.. I'm getting kind of hungry."

"Iite ma, I got some good on the menu for tanight." August revved up the engine and sped past the Mustang giving me no time to get a closer view.
