I noticed her disturbed from few days yet she haven't, I know she will tell me after some time. I heard a knock on door, mama appeared, the moment she entered her expression changed to adoration. I walked upto her in my beautiful bridal dress
"You have grown up too fast Zenish look today is your wedding" her eyes filled with tears but she composed herself, i know these tears are of sadness but she was hiding it by her smile. i hugged her tightly
"I will be always your little girl mama" I whispered to her ears
She smiled at me but this time this was real smile, with that she left me with my cousin and friends. After about half n hour, we heard a knock and tayabba (papa's elder brother) along with my chachu (papa's younger brothers) and Qazi sahab entered. I looked around them but papa wasnt there. I frowned when my brothers came but papa didnt. As Qazi sahab was about to start
"Wait Qazi sahab papa isnt there yet?" I stopped him. They all stared me silently but Zaryaab and Zahaan werent surprised because they knew I once said to papa he will hold my hand when my nikkah will start
"Dont worry zee, he will be here but lets start" Zaryaab gave me assurance. I wanted to protest but nothing came out
"Do you Zenish Shah, daughter of Rehan Shah accept Shayaan Ahmed son of Sajjid Ahmed as your husband" Qazi Sahab asked but then i felt a hand on my hand I look up to find papa sitting with me, he gave me a nod

I felt my hands shaking just one more acceptance and my life will be signed to him, I will be a wife to him. Till now my life wasnt burdened by any type of responsibilities, but after this many things will be expected. Will I able to fulfill my every responsibilities? Will I survive with a man who i despise? Will i ever be loved in this marraige?
I felt squeezed on my hand which brought back me from my reverie. I looked papa and mama,s voice rang in my ears her advise that she gave me last night. Those words gave me some new confidence
"I accept" I replied. People around bursted in happiness, papa gave me a hug and kissed my forehead, every one patted my head. As the male left ladies rushed to me. Mama came forward and kissed my forehead, behind her spotted my mother in law who had tears if happiness, she came forward and hugged me
"Welcome to our family my daughter" I reciprocated her hug, no matter how much i dislike that man who is my husband but his family always make me feel warm especially his mother
Now I am his wife, get ready Shayaan Ahmed life with me will not be turned out on your expectation and i will make sure about it
