I want you to feel the pain that I felt.
When you turned your back and walked away.
To endure the suffocation that I had, when I would see your face.
To feel the crumbling of the earth beneath your feet, everything falling apart piece by piece.
I want you to taste the tears that were captured by the curves of my lips
And to taste the blood that would burst from my lip as I gnawed it in my grip.
I want you to leave my mind
And not to come back
But every time I see your face, the world goes black.
All I see is you and me.
Who we used to be, who we could have been.
But then it all came crashing to an end.
And I realize you are you and I am me,
And we were just friends.
