"I... I re- reject you." She said.
I growled. "Rejection not accepted."
I placed my hands on her hips and pulled her closer. Her breath hitched and I smirked. Breathing in my mates scent I gently placed my lips on her neck. She shiverd.

Today was the the day. The day I turned sixteen. For the first time I welcomed the sound of my alarm ringing in my ears. Why?
Because today I'd find my mate.
Well... I wasn't sure if I'd really find him today, but starting now I would be able to find him. Or he'd be able to find me.
I jumped out of bed and got dressed. I put on some skinny jeans and pulled my favorite light blue flowered dress over my head.

After I washed my face, brushed my teeth, etcetera, etcetera, and brushed my hair I went downstairs. When I got down the smell of burnt pancakes filled my nose.
I walked into the kitchen where my suspicions were confirmed.
Dad was cooking.
My mother died five years ago during a rogue attack when I was eleven. Our house was closest to the border. Ever since me and my dad have gotten real close and he's always trying to be the best dad he can be.
I couldn't help but laugh at the odd sight in front of me. The whole kitchen was covered in flour, including my dad. His usually curly brown hair was white and... were those eggshells?
My dad hadn't noticed me yet. And I took that as an opportunity. Standing right behind him I said.
"Hi dad."
The results of my simple prank were hillarious. My dad turned around and the pancake he was currently baking jumped into te air and landed on his head.
I couldn't contain my laughter and grabbed the kitchen island for support.
"Har har har, verry funny." My dad said sarcastically. But in the end he laughed along with me. I smiled.
"Let me help you." I said.

After me and dad had finished making the pancakes (and eating them) my dad said he'd go to the pack house and check if everyone was ready for my surprise party.
I say surprise but it really isn't. In my pack (the Silver Moon pack) birthday's are always celebrated.
When my dad was gone I started to clean the kitchen, wondering which flavor my birthday cake would be.
