(A/n) Just a quick little note here. I just wanted to thank everyone who has been reading and supporting my story it really means a lot. And since Valentine's day was this week I thought I would do something special for this chapter. Hope you enjoy😊😊

~Flash's POV~

It has been a couple of days since I hugged (y/n). I mean after we hugged that was all I could think about, she was on my mind like crazy. I wondered if she thought about the hug too. I mean like did she like the hug like I did or did she just do it to make me feel good? I wanted her to like the hug but I feel like I rushed into it, and now she probably thinks it was a "friend" hug. I'm so stupid, she probably still doesn't even trust me that much anymore. I've just made things awkward between us, she doesn't even feel that way. Does she? She can't, she's seen the way I am and how I act towards other people, I'm probably invisible to her.

I don't know what to do with her,  I want to make my move but I don't even know that much about the girl. I get to tongue tied sometimes when we talk because of the way her sweet eyes look at me and the way her hair moves, she just makes me nervous okay!!
Flash Thompson doesn't get scared!!....But over her i do, I just don't want her to think badly of me but she's already seen that side of me. I have to build up strength to tell her if she wants to go out but how?I know!! I'll ask Parker what she likes and then maybe I can gain strength to ask her. Thompson you are a genius.

~Time Skip To School~

I had to find Parker and ask him questions about (y/n), he was probably with (y/n)'s loser friends. When I saw him (y/n) wasn't with them yet, but I still made sure this time, "Parker!" I said and he jumped which made me smirk "come here I need to talk to you". He just looked at his friends and walked over to me, I dragged him over to the bathroom and said "look tell me what you know about your new little friend", he just gave me a confused look and said "I'm not telling you anything Flash, I don't want you hurting her!" "you think I would hurt her? If I did I would have done it by now but I haven't because she's my friend!" I yelled back at Parker. "Well if she's your friend why don't you just ask her?" he started "I'm pretty sure she would tell you and why do you need to know about her?" my eyes widened , "don't g-get smart with me Parker!" I told him "it's a simple question just answer". He looked at me for a moment then looked surprised, "you like her" he wispered with a smug face. "do not, I just want to know about her" I answered, "you do like her, that's why you don't want to ask her, your scared" he said. I bent down and told him in a low growl "I swear Parker if you tell her or anybody else I will pummel you understood" he nodded and said "so were do you want to start".

~(Y/n) POV~

I hadn't seen Flash since the hug because he's been having football practice since they made it to finals. I told Danny about the hug since I trust that he won't tell anyone about it, "how interesting, he hugged you first?" Danny asked and I nodded, Danny continued "it would seem that he really is changing all thanks to you, or he likes you" Danny said the last part joking, "zip it Danny he doesn't like me" I said while blushing. When we walked in the school and went with are friends Peter seemed odd around me, when we went to lunch usually Danny sits next to me but Peter did. And he asked "so how's you and Flash?" "what do you mean?" I asked, "well I heard that you two have been walking home together, and I just assumed that you two have became friends" he said, "well ya we are friends but where did you hear that we have been walking home together?" I said. "I actually saw the two of you walking one day, and you seemed to have a nice time with him" said Peter, I didn't know what to say I was in shock. Had he seen the hug? Would he tell anyone? No that's crazy! he would nev-...maybe he would?

~Flash's POV~

After lunch I saw (y/n) walking alone. Here's my chance. I walked up to her real cool and she looked at me,"hey Flash" she said, "oh hey (y/n)" I said trying to be cool, "uhh look I was suppose to go to the movies with my bro but h-he bailed on me so...yy-you ww-wann-a gg-go?". She stopped and stared at me for a second and she remained quiet, I thought she didn't want to go, if she didn't then I bought her a ticket for nothing and had to ask my bro instead. "I understand if you don't want to go I can..." I started but she cut me off, "oh no Flash I would love to go with you". I felt so happy like I was gonna burst.

"Oh well ok, I'll see you at the movie theater at 7?" I said trying to keep my cool, "7 sounds great Flash see you there" she said and walked away. Once she was out of sight I started to do my happy dance saying "Yes! Yes! Go Flash! Go Flash!", I was happy and surprised that she said yes, I didn't think she would want to. This night had to be perfect for us, this was my chance to get her to like me. Well like, like me you know? This had to be absolutely perfect, I had to be perfect, since she's perfect.

~Time Skip To Movies~

She was late. Did she stand me up? Was there someone else? She was probably with fortune cookie laughing together making fun of me. Just as I turn around she comes through the door, she walks up to me and I say "why are you so late, you had me waiting", she looks at me and says "I was suppose to meet you here at 7, and now it's 7:02, how am I late?", "well someone like you looks like their never late to anything" I say and she giggels. I let out a smile when she giggled and we went to go find our seats.

~Time Skip To After Movie~

After the movies we walked to go eat at (y/n)'s favorite restaurant, since Parker told me what it was this morning. We were laughing and talking when we were waiting for our food, "Omg I was shocked when you pushed me I didn't know what to do" said (y/n) finally coming clean with how she felt, and to be honest I felt bad for scaring her. "Well this is a bad conversation for a first date" I said, "what?!?" she said shocked, that's when I realized what I had just said and I messed up big time, "well we can call this whatever we want, I just choose to call it a date" I said and I thought it was a good save.

"What would you call this?" I asked her, "well um... I don't know I haven't really thought about it" she said. I had to say something to her so I told her "well why don't we just call this a date", to my surprise she nodded and that made me so happy.

~Time Skip To After Date~

I thought I would walk her home and she agreed to it, I felt joy because I could see where she lived. I wasn't creepy, I just wanted to know where she lived so I could know if she made it home safe. While we were walking I thought I might break the silence, "so how was your first date with Flash Thompson?" I smirked, "well to be honest, that was my first date like ever" she started "and it was pretty great" she smiled. I looked to her and grinned, "really?" I said "you thought it was great?", "ya, it was really great" said (y/n), I smiled. I was so happy in myself because I made her first date great and I wanted to make it better.

When we reached her apartment she turned to me, "I had a really great, fun time tonight Flash. Thank you" she said ,"I'm glad that you had a great time, I had fun too" I said. I thought this was my chance so I got closer to her and she looked like she knew what I was going to do. She didn't move she was stiff as I got closer. "Look I just want to let you know that..." I said
