Forever And Always

Chapter 2

(Jordon's POV)

I awoke with the shaded sun shining on my face, sorta blinding me. I blinked a bit to adjust my eyes to the new found brightness that was surrounding my retina. Looking down, I smiled at the sleeping cutie in my arms, his mouth slightly agape and his skin pail and porcelain.
     I hugged him closer to me to lap up his warmth, I expected him to wake up and cuddle me back, but he stayed still.
"Matt?" I rubbed his side, not a flinch happened. I tried again to wake him up, but nothing, I sat up quickly and lightly shook him, still......nothing. Tears were forming in my eyes as I so desperately tried to wake him up, I felt one fall with a bunch more cascading down to follow.
"MATT!" I was sobbing, he was gone, and I  could've done something to stop this. I couldn't stop the tears, they clouded my vision as I hugged his limp body close.

(Matt's pov)

Darkness, wet, slushy. I could feel all around me pulse and move, pushing me towards an unknown place. I could hear screaming and machines being used while another person was calming down the screaming one. I could feel the light shine onto me as the person grabbed and gently and picked me up. I couldn't see anything, it was almost as if my eyes refused to open. The person who grabbed me lifted my neck back a little, my head felt heavy as he pressed a finger to my neck.

"I'm sorry to say Mrs. Booth....but he has no heartbeat......." The guy who was holding me said. 

No heartbeat?

I tried moving, but deemed it impossible to even move a finger. I could hear crying and talking, stuff I couldn't really hear anymore. We were walking somewhere now, I could hear patients, nurses and even doors moving to let the person holding me out. I could feel the cool wind hit my face, if I could move I would've curled up to make sure I wouldn't freeze, but with my current condition I'm pretty sure it's hopeless. Sudden wind hit my back as I hit some random shit, it felt pokey and squishy at the same time. I wish I could see what was going on, but even the sounds were slowly fading away from my abilities........Until I was left to nothing.

-5 years later-

"Daisy?" I ran around the corner of the local Wall-Mart to see if I could find my pet, she was a baby chick I had found after a crate broke on a chicken truck. Running  around I stopped to see a man standing there looking at Daisy.

"There you are Daisy!" I ran over to pick her up from the man, looking up I caught the blue hues of the man. He looked familiar somehow, and I felt like I knew him from somewhere. His eyes were so pretty, his hair so shiny, but he seemed sad. I saw tears go down his face, why was he crying? I was so confused.

"M-Matty...?" My eyes widened when the stranger said my name, how did he know it? I stared at him, his eyes shiny with tears and his legs trembling from something. He almost looked as if he had seen a ghost.
