A chapter in honor of the hufflepuff animal the badger.
The badger is an earth animal; it lives in a den and digs in the earth. This often fierce animal, cousin to the wolverine, is a smybol of tenacity, and protection. They protect their young at any cost and have been known to fight off wolves, and even bears. An animal that is often underestimated, because it lives quietly until attacked, but which, when provoked, can fight off animals much larger than itself. The badger imparts persistence, determination and endurance. Badgers also give mental energy and fighting spirit.
