It's always hard mode, if you're a mortal you only have one life. But you do have 10 hearts (like in Minecraft.) Most Crafters are born but rarely some can be spawned in.
Then there's immortals, they're two types of immortality. Impermanent Immortal and Permanent Immortal.
Impermanent Immortality means you can't die from old age and disease but you can die from major wounds.
Permanent Immortality means you can't die no matter what. Wounds, old age, sickness doesn't matter.
But there is something in between mortals and immortals. They're called Heart Immortals.
Heart Immortality is when you're mortal but you have more then 10 hearts. Mostly hackers are heart immortals but sometimes someone can be born being a heart immortal.
Some say it's because of a glitch while others says it's because of a curse. But nobody truly knows.
