Two In One (Fliqpy x Flaky)

Part 8

The second post in a row, there might be three in a row and I really hope I can stay awake to make three, I need to make this up to you guys so please, please comment what you would like to see as their rescue, I cannot stress enough how much I want you guys to have a say in this story, you haven't given up on this story and you pester me to update. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THAT!!

Two days and Splendid hasn't shown up to save his crush or me! Knowing him he's probably cowering in the farthest corner of his room thinking over the situation and think up the worst possible scenarios.

In two days we managed to figure out that the knife wound on his shoulder is causing him small pains and Flaky has done her best to treat it when he was in a calm mood to make sure the pain can settle down. I told her my side of the story and how I figured out about his split personality and she told her side of the story, how she learned the hard way. She told me about how long he was really home and why his split personality wouldn't disappear into the regular, sweet Flippy that we both missed.

All he ever does is stare at Flaky in fascination, the only time he pays attention to me is when Flaky's asleep or when he thinks he's making Flaky jealous by paying attention to me, everything he does is for Flaky and it's creepy. He leaves every once and awhile but he never stays out for long, Flaky told me about her stunt and for a girl like her, it was a very smart and unpredictable move. If I were that psycho, I wouldn't want to run the risk of anything like that happening again.

Flaky was sleeping and Flippy left just a few minutes ago. Before he left he was playing with a pocket knife in front fo me, every once in awhile driving across my skin. He gets bored of me because I don't react like Flaky, it's like his existence is for Flaky, to impress her somehow. 

I remember something from we were kids and when we would play in that tree house...

"No fair! Giggles you shuffled the cards in your favor!" Flaky puffed out her cheeks and Giggles won yet another game of Uno.

Giggles let our her signature giggle "It's just luck, here, you shuffle the cards."  the three girls had put down their cards already but Flippy was still looking, hopelessly lost at the game we were teaching him. Giggle plucked the cards from his hand and placed them at the tip of the deck before cutting it into three smaller decks and cutting those into even smaller decks before putting them all back together and handing Flippy the cards.

Flippy looked lost as he watched Flaky shuffle the cards but I noticed the small tint of red on his cheeks as he looked at her face. I could basically hear his thoughts aloud, it was so plain to see that he liked Flaky. I bet the only reason he was playing this game was because Flaky was enjoying it, even though she was losing a whole lot.

I stood up "I wanna teach Flippy some secret tricks, follow be." I waved him over as I opened the door and climbed out of the tree house. He slowly followed me and when he reached solid ground, he immediately looked up at the treehouse longingly.

I just straight up said it "You like her right? Flaky?" At the question, his face turned tomato red and he slightly jumped.

"H-how'd you know?" He squeaked, clearly surprised that anyone would identify his secret crush.

"I don't know about the Giggles or Flaky, but it's obvious that the only reason you haven't asked for another game is because Flaky really likes this one, you would do anything to make her happy wouldn't you?"

He nodded his head shyly "I would..." I mumbled with a cute smile on his face "B-but please don't tell anyone, they'll tease me and I don't want that!"

"Don't worry Flip, your secrets safe with me." I pat him on the shoulder before climbing back up into the treehouse to join my two best friends.

Somehow I think that Flippy unconsciously wants attention from Flaky but this version of him is more greedy and impatient. Oh, Flippy... Please come back to us, I want to get out of here!

Flaky stirred in her sleep and I started running my fingers through her hair, I never get to do this because her clips are always in the way but they are gone now, and my best friend is in distress...
