- kellin's point of view -

"Hurry up Mike, your worse than Justin" I shout, over to the 19 year old. He continued to get the girls number and scurries back to me, a proud smirk on his face.

"She was like a 6" I tease, looking up to him, he was embarrassingly a lot taller than myself but who wasn't? I know I was a short arse.

"Who even looks at people's faces anymore?" He replies back, shoving his phone with the girls number in back into his jacket pocket.

"That's so obnoxious, " I answer him and his stupid question. It was about 1am and Mike and myself decided to venture from our isolated home, to our favourite bar 'The tipsy crow'. To be perfectly honest any bar was our favourite, but this one usually had the best looking people located in it.

San Diego at night was beautiful, this place was breath taking. Lights shone from sky scrapers and bars, there was always cars speeding down the roads, and even at night the air was warm.

"Help! Help me!" I only just made out, I look at Mike with sheer worry on my face, he furrows his eyebrows before using his vampire hearing concentrating on that all too familiar voice. A second later he begins running, I run after him still working on my balance I know Mike was the same. A few seconds later we were around the back of a Club, Vic was being pressed up against the wall, his wrists were being held tightly by a non recognisable man. Before I could Mike grabbed him by the back of his neck, throwing him over to my feet, I watched vic's body fall to the ground. With anger so transparent in my eyes, I pick the man up, holding him by his neck. My grip tight, he began squirming under my touch, and I enjoyed it. My eyes turned a royal blue, licking my lips allowing my fangs to come out before I sink them into his neck, I drain the blood from him, not being able to stop myself this was amazing. I felt elated, my whole body was tingling as I consumed this mans blood. Once I was done I let go off him, his body dropping limp onto the ground.

"Kellin.." Mike says, looking at me I couldn't quite read his facial expression he looked relived that he was dead but then also shocked that I killed him. I killed him. I've killed a man.

"He's dead" I reply emotionless, I flick my tongue over the corners of my lips cleaning up my self. I look to Vic who was now clearly passed out, I tell Mike to take him home and that I would go find Taylor and tell her that Vic was safe and came back with us. He obeyed instantly, holding Vic in bridal style and disappearing into the night.

"Justin, Kellin and I are vampires" Mike tells Vic. Everything went silent for a second, he was just starting blankly at me before letting out a loud laugh, holding his stomach while doing so. I sigh, irritated by his childishness, well I mean at first I didn't believe Mike so I guess I understand.

"Yeah good one!" He says, a radiant smile still on his face, he looked round at all three off or expressions and his changed to a puzzled one.

"I'm serious" I say standing up, he pulls a face and shakes his head.

"Vampires? Vampires don't exist!" He exclaims, swinging his arms all over the place again, I chuckle and bite my bottom lip thinking of the best way to prove it.

"I'll bite him" Justin chirped up from the back of the room, a mischievous look on his face. I couldn't help but let out a small laugh, Mike threw a pillow at him and Justin threw his hands up in surrender.

"Watch my eyes" I say, allowing him to get a good look at them before I close them shut, I thought about blood, that man I killed last night and when I opened them I knew they were that royal blue colour, Vic gasps taking a step back, almost tripping over the coffee table. He looks to Mike, mentally asking for answers it was obvious he was confused.

"How did you?.." he asks and I cut him off, I take his wrist and he flinched in pain.

"I'm sorry, I forgot" I apologise and he just nods his head following me into the kitchen, Mike trailing along behind us. He honestly was like Vic's parent. Justin didn't bother to come along, he didn't care.

"Look in the fridge" I command him, he looks at Mike wearily, and Mike nods his head telling him to do as I said. Me and Mike look at each other, exchanging a shrug, Mike seemed nervous where I was actually relived. Keeping secrets was too much to handle and keep up with.

Vic placed his hand on the fridge handle, before pulling it open. Hundreds of blood bags exposed, I look at him not able to see his expression yet, as his back was faced to both Mike and I.  He turned round his hands covering his mouth.

"No we don't kill people, their blood bags from hospitals" Mike said, quite clearly answering a question which was going through Vic's head, I chuckle, and clear my throat deciding to keep to myself what happened last night. Vic didn't need to know right now.

"How did this happen?" He asked, in a quiet voice, he looked sad. Why was he sad? I wasn't good with dealing with emotions really, not unless is was my family.

"We will tell you everything," Mike says walking over to him and pulling him into a hug. I began to hear sniffling and light sobbing that's when I knew it was my que to leave.

"Aight, bye" I say quickly, patting Vic on the head and leaving the kitchen. I walk into the living room and sit with Justin who just burst into laughter.

"Aight, bye" he mimicked me and I threw myself on him, throwing his SnapBack across the room.
