Chapter 14: Hayes and A Party

NIKKI'S POV

I walked back downstairs and Hayes was sitting on his phone. "Hey" I said as I plopped down next to him. "Hey...what'd you talk about?" He asked. "Nothing really its just Matthew is jealous but whatever." I lied. "Oh" He said. "Yeah...well I better get going." I said and I gave him a hug and left. Once I got home I ran to my room and bursted into tears. After about an hour of crying I finally  Chloe and Summer in. "WHAT WRONG?!?" They both yelled together. "I honestly don't know...at the hospital i overheard Hayes and Matthew talking and Hayes said he's just using me but I don't know if I was just dreaming. Then today I went over to Hartis' s to see Hayes and Matthew pulled me into his room to talk to him and he told me that Hayes is using me. But I don't know if it's just Matthew being jealous or if Hayes really is using me..." I said still crying. "I  don't think he'd use you...I believe that he genuinely loves you Nikki, but if you don't believe him or me then I don't know." Summer said trying to comfort me. "Honestly Summer I have no clue anymore. I mean I like Hayes and I font think he'd do that but I heard it myself and Matthew told me...then again Matthew dud get jealous when he found out I was dating Hayes so he might just be trying to get us to break up." I said having some hope. "You never know Nicole...All I could say is always have hope." Chloe said.  "Okay." I replied wiping the tears from my face...man they really know how to cheer me up.

HAYES' S POV

"I can't believe you'd freaking do that! Nash told me everything you said! I would NEVER use Nikki! You're just jealous because I got to her before you!: I yelled at Matthew. I was BEYOND pissed. "I'm sorry dude but I'm gonna do anything to get Nikki. I'm in love with her man." He said. "Well I don't fucking care she's mind so back the fuck off!" I yelled louder. "I leaving." I said walking out of the house and next door. I knocked a few times until Sumer answered. "Can I PLEASE come in? I NEED to talk to Nikki!!" I pleaded. "Of course!" She replied letting me in. I went to Nikki's room and knocked twice.

NIKKI'S POV

There were two knocks on my dorr. "Who is it?" I asked still a little depressed. "Hayes...Please open up. We need to talk." He said and I think my heart stopped. I slowly got up and approached the door. I opened it to see Hayes. He came in and we sat on my bed. "Loook...Nash heard your conversation with Matthew and he to me everything. I just wanted to let you know that I'm NOT using you and I love you." He said and those few words literally made me the happiest person alive. "I knew it! I love you too Hayes...I love you so much!" I exclaimed wrapping my arms around his neck and pecking his cheeck repeatedly. "I'm so glad you understand!" He exclaimed. "I'm can trust you as long as you can trust me." I said. "Of course!" He replied and I smiled, which made him smile. I'm so happy he's not using me and he can trust me and I can trust him. "What do you want to do?" Hayes asked making me lose my train of thoughts. "Ummm...starbucks?" I asked unsure of what to do.. "Such a white girl...let's go." He said laughing and I laughed along. "Yes I am a white girl now let's goo!!"

We were walking home and it was pretty quiet besides the small talk from me and Hayes. it just didn't feel right. "Ha-Hayes I'm c-cold and scared." I said shivering and looking around. "Here take my sweater. We're just a few blocks away. And if you're scared I'll hold your hand." He said handing me his sweater and holding his hand out. "Thanks." I said taking the sweater and his hand. We walked hand in hand until we got back to Chloe's house. It's 7 o'clock and Hayes has to leave. "Bye Hayes. Thanks for a great day!" I said planting a kiss on his cheeck. "Bye Princess. I love you!" Hayes said leaning in. I started to lean in and our lips crashed together. sparks flew everywhere and our lips moved perfectly in sync. After about 5 minutes I broke the kiss. "I should probably get inside...oh yeah your sweater!" I said as I was about to take the sweater off. "Keep it." He said. "But it's you magcon one!" I exclaimed "I can get another one. Love you bye" He said and walked next door. I entered the house and was greeted by a smiling Chloe "Hey Chlo! What's for dinner?" i asked happily. "We're going out for dinner tonight." She replied. "Oh okay...where?!?" I asked even more happy then I already was. "Buona Beef" She replied. "Yaaaasss. When are we leaving?" I said walking towards the couch and Chloe followed. "Eight o'clock I hope." Chloe replied laughing and we both plopped down on the couch. "Sounds good to me!" I exclaimed turning the tv on. I went to MTV and we watched 'Are You The One'. "I love this show!" Chloe exclaimed. "Me too!" I replied and we watched it. When it was over it was 7:45 and we were getting ready to leave. "Summer you coming? We're leaving now!" I yelled . "Almost donee!" Summer said walking out of her room. "LET'S GOOOOO!" I yelled and we were off.
