I woke up the next morning feeling a heavy sensation around my neck.

(Oh yeah, my locket.)

I looked down and smiled at the little gold heart.

I got up and put on an electric blue "Scorpions" t-shirt and put my hair into a fishtail side braid.

"Cool shirt." I heard behind me.

I turned around to see Zigzag.

"Yeah, they're my favorite band." I smiled.

I tied the arms of my jumpsuit around my waist.

"Ugh, the blue really clashes with the orange." I said.

I looked at him. "So, do I look okay?"

"For a normal day, you look amazing. But for digging, you look phenomenal."

He kissed me.

"Thanks. Lets head out."

After digging in the sun for a few hours. I felt like I wanted to die.

The water truck came around with Mom in the cab.

"Finally." My canteen had been dry for hours.

I must've been dehydrated because I swear I thought I saw a faint silhouette of Caveman and Zero walking toward us.

I brushed the thought aside. Caveman and Zero were dead. It's been a week, they couldnt have survived.

I shook my head and got in line.

I saw X-ray and Zigzag talking. Armpit joined them.

"Everything okay?" Twitch asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine."

I watched Mom fill my canteen. I took it and headed back to my hole.

Since I had only dug about two feet, there wasn't any shade to sit in.

I took a small sip from my canteen and felt the cool water trickle down my parched throat.

The sun was beating down harder than ever. And it was only eleven o' clock.

"Hey." Zig looked at me, then sat down.

"What's going on?" I asked.

"Dust, dirt, dehydration."

I laughed. "I meant is anything going on with the guys. I saw you talking to X-ray a little bit ago."

"He and the guys think that it's annoying to have to see us together and that we should just take it somewhere else."

"Oh."

"And I agree, so do you wanna go out?"

I smiled. I had been asked on a few dates, but never at a detention camp.

I mean, where are going to go "out " to?

"That sounds great."

"So tonight."

"Perfect. Meet me over there at seven o'clock. Right when the sun is going down."

He pointed to an area overlooking the mountains.

"Alright."

I went back to my hole and started digging. I felt lighter and more elevated.

(What do you even do on a date in the middle of the desert?)

I dug for a little bit until Mom came around with lunch.

"Okay, today we have bologna and cheese appl-."

"We know what we're having for lunch every day!" Squid shouted.

We all got in line and grabbed our sandwiches.

I walked back and there was a little shade to sit in.

X-ray came over to me and sat down.

"So a date huh?"

(What, aren't you the one who hates me?!)

"Yeah."

"I'm glad you guys are gonna lay off the romancy stuff for one night."

I rolled my eyes and stood up.

I started digging again, every so often flinging a shovelful of dirt at X-ray.

I eventually finished and headed back to camp.

I put on my bikini and walked to the showers. There was a huge crowd of counselor's and boys looking over the A-tent guy's body.

The sleep of the striking cobra had ended. But he was still unconscious.

I stepped by quickly and took a shower.

I wrapped a towel around my shoulders and walked back to the tent.

I blow dried my hair and put it up in a curly high ponytail. I looked through my suitcases for something to wear.

I eventually found cream colored shirt and a pair of jeans. I put on a pair of diamond studs and some gold sandals.

Im glad that I ended up packing my entire closet before I came to camp.

I walked out into the desert to where I saw a dark silhouette of a guy.

(Oh it's Zigzag.)

I eventually made my way over to him.

He had on a button up shirt and jeans.

I kissed his cheek.

He extended an arm and I took it.

He and I walked.

"So where are we going?"

We stopped.

"Right here."

We were outside of the trench. I looked down and saw that a blanket was set out on the ground and my laptop was facing a sheet that has tied to a rock, hanging down the trench wall like a big movie screen.

I kissed Ricky.

"This is perfect."

We walked down to the blanket and sat down.

"So what are we watching?"

"Thor."

I rolled my eyes and smiled.

"Perfect."

He put the movie into the disc drive and set the laptop on projector mode. I saw the movie project onto the sheet.

We were watching the movie for about a half hour when I realized that my locket was gone.

(Oh, no wonder I was feeling lighter earlier. My locket fell off when I was digging.)

"Zig, my locket fell off, I'm just going to go back to my hole and grab it."

He looked at me.

"Okay."

I got up and made my way back to the hole when I heard yelling from a few holes down.

I walked over to a hole with a big rock on the outside.

I looked down and saw the faces of Caveman and Zero.
